Free Classic Mini...
I guess I missed it?
Something about labs? I saw this funny thing on a new Soap Opera thread... Turbo vs Supercharger... I'll be back in a bit to edit this post and post it.
Here it is! SO funny... I can't help but keep watching it!

BTW guys- thank you for your support. I am not offended that I was asked a question about my health... it is frustrating but I just try to keep plugging along. I just don't want this to end up being a place for ranting about medical problems. Next thing you know it will be like visiting a nursing home
... and we all know how fun THAT is. Haven't played Shuffle board yet... not ready to either!
I feel like I need to go look for some more road kill!
Last night's road kill was really juicy and YUM-MY!!!

OLA, you are correct on that... speaking of kids and labs, you video reminded me to tell everyone...... as i have said in the past, we have 2 grandsons,
our one grandson lives down the street from us and we get to have him over when ever we want.
Well our other grandson (3 months old already) Lives in NY with mommy and daddy. We have only seen him 2 times since he was born, well just found out they are coming in this weekend for a quick visit.... TIME TO GO SHOPPING AGAIN!!!

That's my boy! He's currently laying on the stairs snoring so loud that it's rattling the windows in the stairwell.
Your baby is gorgeous! How old? BTW... I love the leopard seats and dog-kerchief!!! That is made of WIN!

How about that botchiball?
Thistle has jobs to do every day, in the morning she goes out and picks up hte paper and brings it in, then she gets the hairbrush from my bathroom and takes it to "daddy" and then brings it back. she delivers messages and cards to each of us, and on command she picks up anything that drops and then goes out for the mail in the afternoon.... on and on! I could brag about how smart she is all day. sometimes I think she is bored in our house and would do better as a working dog!
Is that anything like bocce ball? I have a bocce set and love it!
I love boci ball, we play it on the beach ,,,, great fun!!
That is hilarious!! Our lab used to almost bowl me over with just his tail... Lab's tails should be listed as a lethal weapon.....
Gem ours was smart too, but I think yours takes the prize,, that is amazing!! Maybe he should come when we meet for lunch!!! I haven't had a chance to run a Sunday meet up across to hubby but I know for certain Holly can't make that date....
I have big changes for next week also,,,, my son who lives in OHio thinks he is coming in for a visit. He will know for sure by tonight--- wooo hoo!! If he comes in I will be moving clients around again and just might need to work some on that weekend to make it up ( since I leave the following week for Colorado) so I will keep you posted.
My baby is 5 1/2 (wow) I can't believe she is that age already. Yes and mine snores loud at night, she is laying in her bed as she does all day until it is time for her "jobs"...

I never really trained him to do jobs like you've done with your girl and I think this is an excellent idea! I wish I'd thought of it when he was a younger dog. What I did do was basic obedience training with him. He sits and downs on command. He will collect his toys by name and bring them to me. He leaves things alone, he walks past other dogs while we're out for some exercise even if they don't want to leave him alone. He also says please and thank you.
What really blew me away with this dog is that he's picked up on a lot of things over the years that I never purposely trained him to do like, when I say "time for bed", he goes upstairs and gets in his crate. When I tell him its time for a bath, he'll go to the bathroom in the basement and climb into the tub on his own. He also has what we call "the tummy clock". He knows when its time for dinner, and it's really funny because it's not something as obvious as the family's eaten dinner and now it's his turn. No no... every day at precisely 6:30, weather we have eaten or not, he sits at my feet and stares at my head until I notice that he's there. Then I ask him what he wants and he bounces (you have a lab, so I'm sure you know what I mean LOL!) and then he walks over to the pantry where his food is kept and sits down and stares at my head some more until I get up and feed him.

Oh and cabwy: The lab tail is precisely why there are NO coffee tables in my house. The Lab's tail is the perfect height to sweep everything off of a coffee table with a minimum amount of effort. I suppose that at least the coffee tables would always be kept clean, but it's too tempting to put a soda on them and leave it there with the dog in the room LOL!

Ramdon how old is you pup?
Oh Thistle also has office training, while i was on medical leave a few years back I had the home set up as office, and when a fax would come in- she would hear it ring and then run over grab the fax and bring it to me so i didn't have to get up... my girlfriend was here one day while a fax came in and saw her in action, told me to put that on funny videos!
Hey an idea, maybe i should find her a job and then she can support me!! Anyone think that would work?
*smile* I used to think that about Reilly when he was younger, but he's pretty happy for the most part. His jobs are mostly to lay around and sleep. He's somewhere between 12 and 14 years old. We adopted him from the shelter, so we just don't know. We've had him for 10 years.

Does your still get every excited? I asked the vet when she would calm down and he said about age 2 or 3 - when i asked again a couple years later, he said "oh i meant age 6 or 7!
When someone comes in expecially the kids, there is no stopping her! she is a great dog.
And sorry to everyone for me bragging on and on about her, but she is so special to me.
