Jamacian Blue Mountain is the best! and the price reflects it.

Costco has a good Blue Mountain whole Bean Blend though.

I like the Sam's Club Members Mark de-caf whole bean when they have it.

I can detect no difference in caffene-free soda or coffee, but she must have de-caf, but consumes lots of Classic Coke (with the caf! ).

That's really no worse a price than Starbucks... I love the Starbucks French Roast or Italian Roast. I guess I've buckled down for the cliche Starbucks because I just REALLY want CONSISTENCY...and I get it from SB.

That's definitely odd. I've weaned myself off of sodas, so when/if I DO drink it, it hits me like a ton of bricks...but I think it's more the sugar than the caffiene - Caf I got totally covered with my 45oz of coffee a day.

Went to see grandma today. She's doing well, all things considered. I brought her a pot of bright yellow mums, and every time she turned her head and caught sight of it, she just beamed. Awwww... She's got a form of Parkinsons, so she doesn't focus well. She's very upset we're moving. But she gets it... (Her husband was career Navy, both sons were Marines, and two grandkids - and one grand-kid-in-law are Army. We've got the miltiary thing covered from all angles .)

SO guess what I'm planning to do tomorrow??? HINT:

Same here. After all that detailing last weekend i need to wash the car again.

Deb and I did a dry run of next Saturday's MINI Run we have planned. It is a good mix of roads. Some stretches are very much like the Dragon, other parts are quite serene. Tennessee has some of the best state parks we've ever seen. But the insects were intense. One was so large I thought it was a small bird at first.

My choice of brew is a nice cuppa of Earl Grey tea with milk and sugar. I can't tolerate coffee; allergic.

Earl gray is a FINE brew!

Hal.. you should hit up starbucks and get their London Fog tea latte. It's earl gray tea, milk and vanilla flavor, get it in the grande size though, the venti and tall don't taste right. It's a nice way to start the morning.

I want to wash Sloopy tomorrow aslo!! i swear she resembles a pig sty right now,, inside and out!!~
Hal, I don't drink coffee either( and RJ- I think you said this too?) I start my morning with a nice 16 ounce mug of tea,, brewwed with green tea and a de caf bag of Liptons steeped together.... ahhhhhh
I never got the hang of coffee. Once, when my youngest son was in the hopsital for 3 days one of his nurses noticed that I sat up all night holding his arm ( by holding his arm I was able to keep the I.V. alarm happy-therefore allowing my little guy to get some decent sleep) and thought she would help by bring me a coffee. It was so thoughtful of her that I couldn't refuse it, right?? OMG!! I sat there and quivered for the rest of the night,,, how in the heck does the caffiene in coffee bust through your veins like that??

Tnmm,,, honey,, can you explain to me just how a prepubescent goose sounds???

Hi freebies!
Hope everyone starts to feel better.
X thanks for sharing...I can only hope that a day will come when the weeping will end.
Had a great time at the Houston BMW CCA Car Control School this weekend.....recommend taking one of these courses to everyone, but if you squeamish about killing cones and fun with soap it might not be a good idea!

a prepubescent goose... that's what my brother sounded like when his voice was changing- I spent his entire puberty making him laugh cause he'd start honking like a goose, and it would go from high to low to high to low... it was the funniest thing I'd ever heard.
But sometimes I sound like that when I blow my nose!

Ok, so I didn't detail the car today. I ended up finishing the attack on the lavender. It looks almost tame!

Mornin' Freebs. I'm a little muscle sore today. And I discovered a very odd SQUAREish patch of sunburn on one of my shoulders. ??? I put OFF (for the #$(*% mosquitos that like to eat me alive in the front yard) on, as well as waterproof sports sunblock (SPF like 500!) But alas and alack - that weird square patch on my shoulder (not in any particular shape I can identify, either) plus a bit of red along my thighs - I was trying to do all that "taming" seated to save my back. I can never win.

Today is a beautiful, moist but bright, 64degree day. I really didn't want to come in to work today - I want to go driving.

Nooooooo, UhOh!! you need to come to MY house. I might work you hard but at least I can take away the muscle soreness after!

I am wondering if where you sat there was a ray of sun coming thru a trellis or something like that? As for the sun burned thighs,,, I think you were trying to do a "sun salutation"

You girls are so funny. It's kinda weird, but I've always loved doing garden stuff - one of my favorite-est jobs I've ever had was a summer garden-tent manager. I used to know the English and Latin names of all the plants we stocked, and how to take care of all of them...but *sigh* that was a LOOOONG time ago, and i've had to delete those "brain files" to make room. I dispair of the "Ditch Diva" (a one time post-er here.) I gave her a salvaged orchid (from home depot's "dead & dying" rack), and two lavender plants (sorry, V - she came to get them!) She's MURDERED all of them!!!

Anyway - I reaaaaaally don't want to work today. Almost as bad as I didn't want to work YESterday.

*Gasp!* we did the deal to rent a house out in Kansas already. I really don't want to move yet. I can't work on the next house - it's old (but not as old as ours) but it's also someone else's. I kinda like doing the manual labor bit...it's quite a relief from all the brain-mashing they make me do at work.

Sorry RG, but yes I did laugh at that story. Not that it was funny but that he is trying to be alfa already at his young age!
Yes he sense your mood and kept going. while my lab was going through this stage I enrolled her, myself and hubby into "working dogs school" for training and obedience classes, best decission I could have made. She did so well we enrolled her into the next class which was "off leash" and almost took it to the "search and rescue" stage. She then became trained in "help" training (I did this on my own). Say someone was wheel chair bound, if they drop something they usually can't pick it up, she is trained if anything hits the floor she will pick it up and hand it to you....
My point in this is she was bored and too smart for her own good. she needs to do her "jobs" and Mugen is at the perfect age!
You handle it the right way by going out to DQ!!!! what did you get by the way?
