Ok... so tell me the rules. How many posts am I supposed to wait before posting the next part?

'Ola- I think that is up to your discretion, I think it should be a large enough amount so you aren't posting more every other hour, and that it helps to up our posting tally...

Any suggestions out in mini/MINI land?

What happened to MC Will,, do ya think he is sitting shirtless in his mini trying to snap that perfect shot??

 

My Mini has been in storage in my Dad's garage for 2 years. He drove it every month until it decided to lose oil pressure and deposit oil all down his concrete driveway Needless to say - Mini was not popular at that point!

I picked it up around the end of Sept last year and it took me to Mid November to strip it down to the shell working on it on Fri afternoons and Saturdays.

The shell was blasted and returned in December and a local guy has been doing the bodywork for me since then. The guy works for a Limo company - they chop cars and insert the extension, so body and paint is his thing. He does cars on the side for extra $$$.

I imagine putting it back will be quite a chore - I have over 250 pix of the disassembly to help remind me of where things go.......

When I get the shell and body parts back, there will be lots of pictures of the reassembly process.

Grab some popcorn... I may have to load a big wall with beers for this project!

I lived in Minster in the 2004 - 2005 timeframe..... We liked New Bremen or "Crown" town as it was often referred to. I worked at the Goodyear plant on Route 66, south of St Marys.

The movie theatre in New Bremen was great - small and never crowded with first run movies cheap!!! Used to eat at The Grille quite often.

 

Uber-Blue - Erika.... I actually rooted for the Ravens. Too much long term rivalry to root for the Steelers.

I figured/hoped/prayed/etc. that the Ravens would then lose in the Superbowl. Nothing like losing at the last step

What's a sun?

Its bloody cold here too and its getting old - and we are still buried up to our armpits in snow with more coming!!!

My son came up from Canton, OH and commented to his mom when he went home that the snow at the end of Dad's driveway was taller than he is!

He's 13 and around 5' 3"..........

I don't blame you for not wanting to post... I wouldn't dare to either. Like what if you posted and then no one said anything. It's bad enough to "write" something that no one acknowledges. I'm not ready for that... however, I like the "Goofy Girl" idea mentioned earlier today!

I think I had a conversation with Skillet before about how I am certainly not a "hottie"... just "cute"... "with a great personality"! HAHAHAHA!

Ok Mini,,, OMG what a huge huge project! that is cool that it was originally your father's mini. I am imagining you poring over your photos trying to piece it all back together.... I used to get mixed up when I took apart a bridle to clean and then re-assemble!
