HO/B MCC - wb Golf Rd near Woodfield around 10:15am. Didn't even look over at me.. stonefaced with the stereo at full blast. was next to you for 3 lights AND had the nerve to cut me off before I turned into Patrick MINI parking lot. Obviously not an enthusiast

 

zagadka- I am IN for those stickers! Maybe make them black with the red outline like a lot of other mini stickers I see. And I'll keep an eye out for you! I've got an NHRA plate frame and two NHRA stickers on my back window (only seen when the top is up). Are you going to Knauz this weekend?

 

yeah, i was thinking actually about making a few stickers/ t-shirts ( i have a screen printing/ clothing company) to sell when i go to the DIY Trunk Show in November and maybe sell the rest on our website. maybe.

is the ralley deally going on at knauz? if so, i wasn't invited- booo! maybe i'll motor out for a bit, my BF has traffic school all day saturday and i need something to kill the time!

zagadka- I got an invite, but supposedly it was full the day after the mailer went out. I rsvp'd for the lunch at 1:30 and I think anyone can if you bought your car there. It's Sunday though, not Saturday.

 

Spotted @ 2:30pm heading north on 294 underneath the Irving Park oasis a DS/B MSC. The drivers hand being held out the window. (no, no wave but it sure looked like one )

Spotted a HO MCC (top down) on I-88 westbound around 3-ish, driver yakking on his phone. :( Got off at Naperville Rd., I think.

 

DS/B MC (s?) (I think) behind me today at RT 41 and Park Ave. Just when I saw him behind me and went to wave, a stupid bee flew in my car and terrorized me!!! Flew in my face, under my seat...!!!:impatient I tried to open the top and get him out, but the light changed and then the mini turned... Sorry, I didn't wave but I tried to!

 

I got waves from a CR/W MCS and a BRG/W MCS today around lunchtime on Rt. 22 (and no bees)

 

Went North today, a few MINI's in WI, one wave.

Funny thing on the way home, near state line, going north was a late model "Z" car running the spare donut on ALL 4 corners . Made me go "WHAT"

 

I guess one doesn't have to be smart to be able to drive!!!

 

Side by side with a Chili Red MCS drop-top around 4:30 today in Aurora on Ogden. Had my 80 yr old parents in the car, so I had to drive more calmly than I would have liked... We enjoyed seeing the convertible version of the car.

 

Saw 9 MINIs and 8 Minis at the British car show in Palos Heights last Sunday. Actually got to drive the Goldmember Mini automatic!! Awesome!! Thanks Nick!!

• HB/Black MCC - eb Golf Rd turning onto Busse @ 6:15pm. I was sort of next to you at the light, couldn't see you in the cabrio blindspot
• CR/W MC w/UJ mirror covers - nb Wolf Rd/Rand Rd @ 6:30pm. Pulled up on you, not sure if you saw me before I turned off...

 

Spotted at 5:30am, a JB/JB MC on 294 heading north near North ave. Two older gentlemen having coffee and enjoying the drive, moving at the posted limited while I was not...

...i see TONS of MINIs in Libertyville (namely a girl who drives a CR/W MC, and a girl who drives a LB/W MCS).

 

The Knauz run was today--maybe you saw some of those folk?
