wow.... 3 days and no sightings.

I did spot a PW/B MC on Archer parked @ 7:15p, threw a Spotter card on it.

 

I saw every color mini yesterday. I was at Knauz getting my oil changed. I also took out a new MCS 6speed and it wasn't what i had hoped. The car itself was nice but the tranny and clutch weren't all that great and didn't feel as tight as the older version. Over all it was cool to run around for a hour in a new mini.

 

Spotted a dark grey mini with a black convertible top going north on County Farm Rd in Wheaton by the Dupage County Government Complex around 6:30 pm yesterday evening. Didnt see me because there was heavy traffic and I was in the southbound lane.

Hey - yeah that was me. Took my wife shopping.. making up for the fact I'll be a the Dragon for five days next week BTW did you see the Ferrari F430 parking a couple cars away?

 

Gabe, can you write off the Nordstrom trip has part of your biz trip to the Dragon?

CR/W on McCullom Lake Road heading east around 11, no wave.
CR/B w/stripes on Thompson Rd. near Rt. 120 heading north around 12, got a V-sign, waved back.

EB/B (or whichever the light blue shade is called) MC on I-90 eastbound. Met up around 2:30 pm east of the I-290 interchange in traffic approaching the tolls, waved/wave back. Exchanged positions every so often until I exited the Kennedy at Irving Park.

CR/W (?) around 3:30 pm heading west on Irving Park Rd. near Clark. Driver was in the middle of picking her teeth and her mouth was GAPING WIDE. My hand was halfway up to wave when I saw her and I just...chuckled.

CR/B (?) a few cars behind the last one. No wave.

 

im writing a belated mini spotting sooo "belated" i dont even remember the date and time anyway here is the funny story. im on the turning left lane between miller road and jct 22. i go forward slightly u know so if it is clear i can turn left? i dunno what i was thinking that time but it was a pleasant surprise to see a blue cooper with stripes going beside me on my right side, my smile turned into utter horror when instead of a wave or a smile she was mouthing "whats wrong with u" (i think) and pointed in the RED stoplight!! needless to say i VVVROOMMed my way outta there. i have no recollection whatsoever if she followed suit. that's all....

 

Was it black??? I saw one pulling out of Old Orchard this afternoon between 4-4:30pm...

Missed that! But I did get honked at for sitting parallel to you in the wrong lane of traffic!

 

No - dark blue. I saw a conv. F430 on Sheridan in Evanston 30 minutes later.

 

hmmm.. maybe it was dk blue, I only saw the rear from a distance... I was gawking at a nice accident on the corner of Golf Rd/Skokie Blvd... SUV had a stop light & pole firmly planted on the hood and windshield they took out the light on the eb left turn lane on Golf Rd. I think they needed a small crane to lift it off made a busy intersection just nuts!

 

Went from the western suburbs up Rt 59 to Barrington today and back. Saw quite a few MC's most with convertible tops. I wasn't in my MC today though so no waves.

 

On the way home from the MOD party today.. spotted :

CR/W MC w/Cubs logo on doors parked at Home Depot in Glenview... forgot to bring spotter cards...

 

CR cabrio honked as it passed us on Randall in S. Elgin this morning around 6:30am. We were stopped, making a left.

a Jacobs loaner R56 parked at the Olive Garden in Naperville on IL59 @ 12:30 this afternoon. Talked with the two ladies and passed along a spotter card. Her's was in the shop for repairs.
