WTF is Cherry Wheat?
Chris if you can find some Cambridge in a bottle, and you don't mind, bring a little of that. I'd like to try some.
Sam Adams regular can be bought here. I don't think I've seen the other stuff.

Cranberry Lambic (I'm sure it was a typo, but for those paying attention, I figured I'd make note
)
Either way, I'll be skipping both the Cherry Wheat and the Cranberry Lambic - tastes I've not yet acquired.

I'm the one that wanted the Black Lager. I tried it at the EPCOT food and wine festival and thought it was very good. I can only get Sam Adams Ale in Jax and sometimes Octoberfest (finished my last one two days ago
). Hey, I live 3 miles from a Budwieser brewery, anybody want some of that.

I didnt know until recently that Sam Adams made more than the normal ale and october fest. I would be interested in tasteing some, but im affaird im going to want more after the meet and have to wait a year to get more.
Is there anyway you New Englanders could bring a gaggle of Sam Adams beers?
I've been somewhat sheltered as far as beers go and I am going to see if I can snake one beer of every type off of each of you guys.

Cherry Lambic mixes well with Youngs Double chocolate stout, makes a good desert.

OOOOHHHHHH!!!! Now I LOVE Young's Double Choclate Stout - I'll have to try it with a cherry lambic (who makes a good one?) at some point on this suggestion!

Alas no, and now I can only get the bottles here in Jax. The fridge in the garage goes along with the full pub I have in the house which includes: pool table, dart board, bar, upright piano and pub table and chairs. My wife is good to me...

All i remember is the lable is brown and it was about 6 dollars a bottle. I will look next time im at the beer store. I also tired it with strawberry lambic, that was also nice. Funny thing is, i dont like mixed drinks.
No problem. I just need to know so I can add you to the list. Remember people, I'm trying to "register" everyone so I can keep this thing organized. Let me know officially when you want in.
S Curvz you are on the list.
Let me know when you figure out what beer you will be bringing. Be sure to check the list at http://passatdotd.tripod.com/brewswap.html to see what others are bringing.
Oh, and don't forget to pick up a shirt.

I see Alesmith is on the list of wanted beers. I'll be in San Diego all of March and can get some to bring for the Brewswap as long as someone else brings Shiner Bock. Whoever requested Alesmith, let me know how much you wanted so I make sure I get enough.
Matt: I'll wait until you confirm with me that I should bring Alesmith. Thanks again for all the hard work setting this up.

). My advice would be a 12 pack if it's good stuff. I'll work on getting someone to bring Shiner Bock.

The thing about the Sam Adams varietals is that some of them are great, but some of them taste like bad stovetop experiments. The Boston ale is great, the cream stout is great, and my very favorite of all is their seasonal spring ale, which of course changes every year, but every year I love it. The summer ale is usually awesome, too. Some of the others, though, are just awful - like the IPA. And I really like IPAs!
The cherry wheat is palatable, but not great. I haven't had the black lager for some reason, but I've heard good things. They actually sell it at the "Quality Market," a tiny convenience store at the bottom of my street; I don't know why I haven't picked it up yet. Maybe soon.
