Chad's already bringing Bell's Beer and Dragonmead. We can't stick him with more. Worst case scenario I'll bring Shiner Bock. I should be able to get it here in LA.

Hey all! I just added a new feature to the site. Below the participant list I put a map of the United States and highlighted where the States where we are all from...all those attending that is. I also put below that the listing of how many are coming from which states. Right now PA is in the lead with 5.

Xanda and DaCrema...I still don't know where you two are from.

Still no West Coasters. We need to encourage some of those people to attend.

Later on I plan to have the brews listed changed into hyperlinks linking to the Brewers website.

I've been somewhat sheltered as far as beers go and I am going to see if I can snake one beer of every type off of each of you guys.

Bless you, your MINI and your Chows.

If there's anything I can bring from here to return the favor just let me know. Cajun seasonings, hot sauce, specialty foods, etc....we got lots to offer.

Wraith I'll add you to the list but we need to get you, agokart and Driskill together on the Bell's so you don't overlap flavors. A lot of people talked about how good Bell's is so I don't think it's a problem having 3 people bring some.

I will be bringing a mix of beers from The Church Brew Works in the Lawrenceville section of Pittsburgh. I'll have Celestial Gold, Pipe Organ Pale Ale, and Pious Monk Dunkel.

I love those beer names! They have a Penance Porter, too.

We should have quite a bottle collection after this is all said and done.

Would the 33 people who are participating in the Brew Swap please do me a favor. Send me an email with a subject line of "Brew Swap Participant" and in the body of the letter put the city/town where you are from.

If I have your emails it'll make it a lot easier for me to inform you guys of cganes/additions and it'll enable me to coordinate those of you bringing different varieties from the same brewer. I won't give out your emails to anyone and I'll always BCC when I send out the group emails.

And yes, even if you've emailed me before and you know I have your email...do it again. It'll save me from having to search.

Thanks
Matt

Would you like to provide us with your email address, or should we divine it from the alignment of the stars and moon? ;-) (I checked your profile and there's no email link.)

Well Mr. Smarty pants you could have checked any of the t-shirt threads, earlier in this thread OR the Brew Swap website.

But I'll make it easy on ya.

LouiefromStLouis is bringing Fat Tire. But since it is a highly talked about beer I certainly think jsouz could bring some as well. Jsouz would then be the request man since he's also bringing the highly requested Moose Drool.

There is now. I had the right box checked but due to some global setting or something it didn't show up. Mark fixed it for me.

Hey everyone, here's an update.

We are up to 36 participants for this event. That rocks. We still don't have anyone from the West Coast. No california, washington or oregon people. We should have some southern california beer though compliments of Miniwildcat. He's heading out there next month.

I added a countdown clock to the website. It's small but it was easy to put up.

If you guys want or need anything else for the site OR for the event itself please let me know.

Matt

You know, just to make sure I am doing the right thing

I went and got some Moose Drool Ale and Scape Goat Pale Ale this weekend, and sampled a few. Well, me and the poker guys did.

It was unanimous....Moose Drool far outshines the Scape Goat Pale Ale.

So Moose Drool it is. Wanna know more? www.bigskybrew.com
