According to the website it still shows "En route" and does not show it at the VDC. However after emailing my MA and talking to her she informed me that it was at the port/VDC and should be delivered to the dealership in about 7 days....at the most 10 days.

I live in Arizona, so it should take a day of travel from the VDC to my dealership. I just hope that it is at the VDC and that they are doing whatever upgrades/downloads that they need to. Hopefully it is not just sitting on the dock waiting to got to the VDC.

Let me know what you find out on your end. If my tracking information was correct, the Toronto should have docked June 30th and unloaded my mini at the dock on that date.

Good Luck, hope you get good news!!

I get the exact same info - en route online, "at the port awaiting a shipping vessel on the automated voice", and "I'm sure it's probably there by now" from the live person at ASK-MINI. I am in SLC, so mine will take a few days extra as well. I would just feel so much better if I knew she was at least in processing at the VDC. Seems strange that updating is this far behind

Survey

It seems that MINI corporate and the dealerships must not communicate. I got a phone call last night wanting to ask me a few questions regarding my experience. When he learned I hadn't taken delivery he stuttered, acted surprised and said "Umm, ok well then, I will call you back next week." So does that mean the dealer is taking their sweet time and I should already have mine by now? Anyone else have this problem?

I actually got an email about taking a survey, and that I would be getting a call after two days if I hadn't responded to the email. I'm thinkin ok, i don't have my MINI yet.

I know my MA thinks i'm crazy now, cuz i keep botherin him everyday.

I think they must be used to us by now. I keep finding excuses to go to the dealership and sit in the MINIs on the showroom floor.

I put the aux input in the parcel shelf as well. You can't even see it unless you look. Nice and clean.

I will post a pic of the mud flaps when they get installed. I am going to pull the wheels and do the lower slat of the chrome grill and the mud flaps at the same time.

I like the idea of the angel eyes but I have no idea about the front clips.
Ahhh many thank yous, seems I'm missing part of my kit for the rear bumper protection, namely that what I presume is a sponge.

I've been debating on how to install the Aux. audio. I was waiting for the parcel shelf mainly for ease of reaching back there. I've been kinda going back and forth on not actually drilling it in, just leave it lose and use the ties to keep it from getting wild to installing it in the shelf or on the top of center console cubby. Decisions decisions.

Must be a vendor problem....my sister was in a pretty bad accident with a good amount of damage (she's ok) but it's gonna take about 3 WEEKS to get fixed...well about 3 days after the accident someone called to see how her experience with the body/dealer was???? Then tried to tell her about the cars for sale at the lot!!!

The part you are missing is a hard plastic piece that is used you get out any air bubbles. I was going to install the bumper protection last night but I am not sure now. It is cut really weird. Does not line up with the curves of the rear bumper. I might look around for a 3M clear solution.

I will take a picture of my aux jack and post it. You can't even see it, my ipod, or the cable between the two unless you bend down and look for it on the shelf.

Announcement to ALL: The Parcel shelf is a great upgrade. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. It gives you much needed storage and just looks cool.

I got the hard plastic piece, but there's another piece in the docs (labelled C) that looks like a sponge. I did try to match the piece up and you're right, it's fitted odd. Best I could figure is to lift the hatch and get it righ tup in there against the inner edge, seems to fit a lot better that way.

You talked me into it, think I'll do the euro shelf this weekend. Did you experience as much pain as others have? Any tips?

Yes she has finally gotten her name! Sylvia!

Sylvia is not coming home until Monday!
I'm happy, but at the same time I'm sad. I hopin this weekend. She came back today from getting the aero kit installed, and she's scheduled for the spoiler install tomorrow, and the glue needs time to dry so I can't get it the same day. So it's now monday, but official. I'm scheduled at 4pm on Monday to pick her up for delivery.

That JCW spoiler is nice too. I know i was on some thread here somewhere, and somebody posted a pic with a MCS with the JCW spoiler. I don't remember which thread though. But that looked really good.

So all this time I have referred to our MINIs as being brothers since they were born the same day. What a shock to learn mine has a sister instead!

I had a morning pickup and I was trying to act cool all morning. Spent some time cleaning up my trade in vehicle and then went and had breakfast and nearly brought it back up I was so nervous. The wait filling out all the paperwork drove me crazy!

Good luck both of you, happy motoring, I know you'll be busy but send pics soon!

Wow, that's a sharp looking MINI. I love the HB Black roof combo I got but it does lose some of the... 'cute' factor without the white roof, I think you got it nailed though. Gratz!
