I think we should get six weeks of motoring leave when we first get our babies. Who can possibly concentrate on work???

 

I agree! It was sooooo tough. Especially with everyone coming over, asking questions Time moves so slow when I'd rather be motoring!

OK, now time to get your opinion on my last-minute details...
After seeing the thread showing a black scoop intake, I've decided I've got to have that right off the bat! Called the dealership's service dept today and they were great, even said they'd put it on before I get there with no install charge! I was also wanting the chrome grill, but do you think with the black scoop it'd look better to just keep it white? decisions, decisions...impatient:impatient

 

So I'm back with Sylvia!! She's a looker! Gorgious! SEXY!




There's a pic of the JCW spoiler too just to give people an idea how it looks. I think it looks GREAT! I was out motoring all day today.

For now, at least, I'd like to keep the stock grill. Besides that, seems I'm really shelling out the bucks on this baby so far, need to cut back a little and save some for later (so says the hubby)

Gee, I kinda' got that same remark from my hubby. It's just so fun to shop for Penelope though! And who knew there were so many fun things to buy! There should be a MINI Gap store (like Baby Gap) with little MINI mannequins in the windows dressed in all their little MINI accessories. Wow, I feel an idea for a new business coming on . . .

 

My MA called me yest and told me that my Coopster was in!! She was supposed to call back to schedule a time for me to pick her up, but she never did and I had to go to work.

 

My MA told me that she wanted to offer me an extended warranty and stated the the dealership was going to attempt to match the prices at my credit union. I told her as long as they could I would buy it with them.

I hope she calls tom marrow, it should not be much sooner until I pick up the Coopster!!!

West coasters... some good news. I heard from my MA yesterday, he said:
Your MINI should hit the port in the next couple of days, and then it takes 3-10 days to get to our dealership. After it arrives, it takes 1-2 days to go through the shop and detail, then it will be ready to deliver.
Lets hope for a quick ride from the dock to Sacramento

It won't be long now! FYI - it took mine nearly two weeks to get through the VDC and onto a truck. Sometimes it seems like it happens really fast - other times, not so much.
