Well the website says my estimated delivery is 7/1, yet also says its in Charleston. I called ASK-MINI and the VOICE said its waiting at the port to be shipped. I guess they stop tracking once production is done. So now its just more hurry up and wait until my MA tells me whats going on. This past week since its been in the States has been the hardest part. UGH! :impatient

Jayne, any word from your MA? Any further status changes?

 

My MA emailed me confirming the programable options. He said it's at the VDC, (well, he called it the the final processing center LOL) So I'm getting close.
I sure wish I didn't live so far from the dealer. It is going to be so hard knowing it's there. If it's not there & ready by this Saturday I won't have another day off till the 15th

Any word on yours???????

 

No, not yet, and with tomorrow being a holiday I doubt I'll hear anything then. I just need to be patient, but man is it hard to do! How far away is your dealership? Maybe you'll catch that gottagetmyminitis virus next week and have to take a sick day

 

Darn, it's so hard to be patient!

My dealer is about 4.5 to 5 hours away. Shoot I wish I could take a sick day, but so would my drive down LOL, won't happen ...plus I probably won't have a job by the end of the month so I want to get every day of pay I can LOL

 

All I can say is "WOW!!!!!"

That is it kids! Totallly worth the wait. The hardest part is not knowing when. When I knew that Wednesday was going to be the day, I felt great. Then when I got the call that I could get it yesterday, I just about cried.

This was touched on a little earlier, but question. Once that day finally arrives that all of us Week 23ers are happily motoring, are we all disappearing in NAM-land or are we going to keep this going and keep each other apprised of whats going on with our new babies? Do we need to start a new thread or keep this one going? What do you guys think?

Just thought I'd call ASK-MINI for fun, and they now say that my vehicle is "at the port awaiting a shipping vehicle". I hope that means a truck - did anyone else have this message?

I know I will be stickin around. I definately will want to see all the mods have been doin to their week 23 born MINI's.

 

I plan to stick around as well. It's sooooo nice to have other people who are as nutty about their MINIs as I am! No one in my "real world" seems to get it.

 

I have two friends that, even tho they don't own one, are pretty hyped about me getting one & the others....well...I'm converting them!

My friend and I installed a couple small mods last night. We will be doing the chrome grill and possibly parcel shelf tonight.
