I checked them out from another thread & emailed my options to my MA. I had them activate most of them.
But I did not want the lock again after 2 minutes unlocking or the convience entrance aid/central locking active. I think that's the one where others are finding thier windows open over nite. I did activate the daytime driving lights & this is one that I am still on the fence about.
I have never bought a car with so many things to think about It's making me dizzy!!!!!!

 

Either that or they met eachother on the wonderful cruise and decided to sneak out of the VPC and elope in Vegas. They do have drive through weddings ya know and those cruises are awfully romantic.

 

All in all I'd say my MA is on the positive side. Very friendly guy, fairly quick to respond to email or phone calls. He's not very proactive but then I came in like a storm with 3/4 of the information in hand and pretty much just had him fill out the paperwork, etc...

On the sale itself he saved me quite a bit of money by suggesting certain things and making sure I knew what everything meant so I could make an informed choice on whether I wanted it or not which I thought was very nice.

The only beef I had with him was the day before delivery I asked him to plesae have the washer fluid half drained and water added and to check the Xenon headlights because I had heard that they tend to shoot low. He initially indicated he wasn't going to do it and explained how I could do it myself. I was not happy. When I came back the next day for pick up, ends up he had dumped one of the drinking bottles of water in there and that helped to some extent though he gave no indication whether he did anything with the headlights. All in all not a big deal just kinda confused me after all the VIP treatment.

I can say I never felt once that I should contact his manager for anything. He always answered my questions if not to my satisfaction (such as where my car was after ASKMINI lost track of it), but he did get back to me promptly with when he expected it in, etc...

I found the list of programmable options here and sent them to him with what I wanted (no two minute lock after unlocking and 24 hour clock display). He never asked ahead of time what I wanted. I might not have given him the chance.

That is awesome! Well when it says it's at the dealer, if you read the description, it means that it can be on the way to the dealer. Ur MA will let you know when it will be there.

I know the MINI dealer by me is open on the 4th! My MA is supposed to call me on the 4th for an update.

 

Right now, all i'm waiting for is the aero kit and the jcw spoiler. I saw my car again on friday. Had to say hello and make sure that she was being taken care of. She's got my name on her now. The clearbra guy was at the dealer and saw my car and gave me his approval.

it looks good without all that stuff. I can't wait to see it with it. I don't think when i get it that i'll ever go back in the house. I'm sure i'll have the car broken in within the first week that I have it.

bluminiboy I don't know how you can stand going for looks and not taking her home! Can't wait till your day comes and we get to see pics and hear all about being a new owner!

 

They just need to put a coat of wax on it. A step that I will be repeating as soon as it pulls up m drive way.

Glad to hear we are finding our lost MINI's at sea. I'm sure within the next couple days that we will know where the last one is. Hang in there guys!
