Hi all,
New member here from Va beach. I have been been creeping through this site the last couple of weeks after picking up a 2011 Mini Cooper S. I wanted to join to say thank you to everyone who posts their experience and knowledge on here.
I purchased a Mini Cooper S on offer up for next to nothing as a project. It was not running at the time with many issues. With little mechanical experience I was able to diagnose and fix the issues with this car(thanks to everyone who has been through these and posted solutions etc.)

It had a couple issues. The vacuum pump seized and threw off exhaust timing. Before replacing the pump I ripped of head to check valves, luckily no damage to pistons or valves( positive to this I was able to clean up 8 years of carbon buildup, I should have taken pictures it was bad!!!)
Once running I had some sensor issues. The maf would always read 38lbs even disconnected along with the frps which read 3624.49 psi. I was worried it was a computer issue but it turned out just bad sensors.
As of now doing good. I have a feeling I will need to replace the eccentric shaft motor as the connector was full of oil when I disconnected it. I cleaned it when putting back on, checked a week later and full of oil again, shaft motor still functions..... for now.

Hello team,
I just bought my first Mini! A 2014 Mini Countryman S. I am looking forward to see your stories and explore the forum for the best solutions in any problems.
For starters, I have 2 things that I would like to change. Does anyone have any recommendations as to what aftermarket central dispays I can put into my car?
Thank you in advance!
