new member with new car
Picked up my new 2005 MCS yesterday, 500 miles later I have a huge :smile: on my face - just like during that one test drive but more permanent... Specs: Jet Black with White roof/mirrors/bonnet stripes. Cold weather, premium and sport packages, LSD and JCW airbox. Anthracite interior surface & headliner, chrome package & cloth seats. Awaiting '2005' alarm.
I'm getting used to the manual again but so far I like the feel of the gearbox. Suspension and tires are firm, the bad roads in the Oklahoma don't help, but they me all I need to know about what's going on with the car in relation to the road. Steering is very direct and informative. No fun staying below 4500 rpm though
oh well only 700-800 miles to go.
I love this car, sooooo much fun the drive
and that whole "space warp" thing that happens when my 6'2" gets in the car is funny as hell, no way this tiny car has this much space inside...
Anyway, I will try to attach some pics of my "no name" car...

I have been (motoring instead of surfing NAM) and have been racking up the miles since I got the car 2 days ago - 600 miles to be exact. Engine is starting to feel better and better...

I know, because I have an all-Jet Black MCS....and she requires a whole lotta pampering! But she is gorgeous and worth it!
