Check each wheel that the cable hasn't been damaged by the installer.
One each front and rear wheel will have 2 cables, one is a brake wear sensor.
Also check your brake fluid level, that will trigger a DCS light fault.

How the cars are spec'd out can make a big difference but, as your experience demonstrates, these niche cars aren't for everyone.
Still lovin' ours -- hope you find something you can love.
Can you let us know specifically what it is about your MINI that doesn't resonate with you?

As an aside, on more than one occasion I have remarked at how much the handling of our Clubman S All4 reminds us of our 912 from decades ago. Interesting.

I appreciate all the comments..i am by no means comparing the two..the turbo S is in a league of its own, hands down best car ive owned. The mini was more or less an impulse buy as i took a walk thru the dealer with my 5 year old son who insisted we buy one. I always hear that mini's are like big go karts so i thought the jcw would be fun daily driver. Well, to be honest, it was not fun for me. It is underpowered and feels disconnected from the road...perhaps a golf R or Focus RS would have been the better choice

I'm just curious what you got for the JCW in trade or sale outright? I've seen how much depreciation is on these cars when barely broken in. Hopefully that will level out over time.
I also have an all black JCW and one thing is for certain it's a stealth car....very much under the radar. You might miss that feature if you get back into a Porsche! LOL!
It's a personal thing of course, but I absolutely love my MINI! It truly makes me smile just as much as my other older vintage cars, like my BMW E30 M3! They both make me smile big time. I don't compare, I just enjoy them for what they are.
