Whats model 2010 MINI Hardtop do you have, Cooper, Cooper S, JCW ? R56?

I know you are a gen 2 MINI and it will be plugs and coils. 4 plugs and 4 coils. One coil per plug.

Then I can help you.

Thanks

Clutches last an extremely variable amount of time. The same car in the hands of one driver can go 100K and in the hands of another, 30K. I actually don't know that "typical" clutch life for a Mini, but I can tell you that in a Miata, 150K++ was not unheard of, and that isn't generally an easy going crowd.

R56 is the 2007+ Hardtop ( Three door ). Most popular MINI.

R56 MINI Cooper ( Non S ) is another way to say it. For MINIs without the turbo engine.

Most likely that's what you have. I have linked the part number.

Ignition Coils ( one per cylinder ). MINI OEM Part # 12137594937

Look for your production Month / Year it will be in the door jam on the driver side.

For vehicles up to 09/2009 Part # 12120035933

For vehicles from 09/2009 Part # 12122158165

Takes a special deep well 14mm 12 point , thin wall socket to get the plugs out:

Deep Well Spark Plug Socket - 3/8" Drive

Thanks , hope that helps.

MINI says the plugs are 100k plugs, but we find it's better to replace them on your MINI at 50k as they wear and fuel mileage suffers or fail like yours.

but you will need the special socket to remove them, we have this long one which makes it really easy.
