If you're talking about its status still being at the port on the UK, I'll bet you actually made the Georgia Highway this past Sunday and the system just hasn't been updated.

If you contact your MA, s/he will be able to tell you, by now, if your MINI is on that ship.

You're not a true miniac until you can rattle off the vin perfectly lol.

Have you tried talking to a live person at OL? They can tell you up to the point at which the car has been given access to board a ship but usually can't tell which one. That should narrow it down to just a few options. Then check the ww line and see. If it doesn't show up there then you're on the k line.

 

I was told that East coasters are usually on K-Line ships.

 

After a brief tour around the North Sea, my CM just stopped in Southampton on the Asian King to pick up the other MINIs. Anyone else on board?

For those that are worried they didn't make it on a ship, my lil guy got picked up in Bremerhaven on March 22 but didn't show up on W&W until March 23. He didn't show up as "En Route" in the Owner's Lounge until yesterday, so 3 days after setting sail. I was pretty bummed that I was going to have to wait another 10 days for the next boat, but sure enough (thanks to my compulsive checking), I saw him pop up a day later.

 

My MINI is on "Asian King" too! Next stop: New York.

I got a Hardtop in Kite Blue with white roof, white bonnet stripes, black 16 inch 6-star twin spoke wheels, premium package II, and the technology package. I can't wait.

How did you configure yours?

 

I called Ask MINI today and they are showing that I’m still at the port so I guess I missed the boat. Who knows though, maybe their system isn’t up to date either!

 

Did you put your VIN in the track and trace for the shipping company?

Assuming that your location, Lancaster PA, is correct I would guess that your port of call is going to be NYC (NJ). If you did not get on the Asian King that just left Southampton on March 26, the next ship is Mignon departing Southampton on March 31. After that it will be Faust on April 10th.

I do not believe that K-Line has any ships that have NYC as a port of call. Just WW. Give the WW site a couple days and then search again for your VIN.

 

Not necessarily... Picked up mine today. He came into Baltimore through WW. Took a couple days after production was complete to be able to see the booking (VIN lookup). Then the anxious waiting begins...

Well, I've hit the 11 week mark today of this excruciating wait. Moxie has been on land in CA for 6 days now and I still haven't seen her! My MA told me she was going through inspection on the 23rd and would let me know when scheduled for a truck. We don't even have any major blizzards as an excuse for it taking this long like you East Coasters have. I hope to hear something today. Fingers crossed.

Well, mine is finishing up today. Just called and it is listed in QC check. It was painted yesterday. So I guess 3/27 will be her birthday. Now the wait for her to get here. And I guess since someone posted last week, this month is the 50th anniversary of the Cooper S, I can call it a 50th anniv model. haha.

 

I can stop whining now! My MA called a bit ago to tell me Moxie is at the dealer!!! I'm so stoked! He said I can pick her up Friday! She's going to be getting striped and some accessories, but I should be good to go for sure.
I asked him to take a pic of her when he see's her (she's at their lot a block away), so I'll post it when he does.
It's perma-grin time!

Picked up Anderson last night. He was a blast to drive home. I'm so in love!

 

Moxie is looking good. People wonder when the see the Mini's that have been unloaded from the hosts, why there are so many white Mini's. it's all the protective tape. I wonder how they taped the top on Lil Raggi.
