This would be the carrier for GG's mystery ship "Gentle Leader". I've been able to track it on the way to Southampton from Bremerhaven. This is the best news I've had all week, besides ASK MINI telling me today that my baby was on it's way to port today! FINALLY! Fingers crossed that I catch the Capricornus. This would shorten my wait by 8 whole days! That's like, at least a year when you're in MINI obsessed mode.

GG, in the meantime here's your twin...more stuff, got the tailight rings blacked out, new shorty antenna, beltline blackout on order, new backup light for the left side (so the left and right look the same instead of one backup light and one fog light), front and rear mud flaps ordered too. The modding sickness is getting warmed up! Oh and I ordered these seat belt extender thingy's too because it's hard to grab the belt after I close the door...I'm getting kinda old you know

Yea I feel pretty lucky. I told them I needed the car quickly as I'm scheduled to attend Mini's on the Dragon in May and they really took care of me. This is my 4th Mini and I can't wait to see this one. BTW, looks like you built a really nice car. I hope things move along quickly for you.

OK. My MA just txt'ed me telling me I was out to SEA and knowing I am not on the WW ships and the last KLine to be at Southampton would mean I have to be on the Athens Highway which I asked him to confirm the name of the ship. About D@MN Time!!! Excited but still annoyed as I know many more after me will deal with the same lack of knowing what is going on ....

Well if this is the care that puts me at getting my baby by the EOM which is better then No F'ing Clue as I had finally just given up earlier.

Thanks for the complement, I am having so much fun modding. I get my window tint done on Monday. And a few minutes ago I installed a Gobadge in red and black of the twisty road sign on a black mount. I'm telling you I need mod rehab!

I guess ECS filled their backorders because it is still showing March! But I also saw a post from Outmotoring after I posted my news in another thread, and Outmotoring says they have them in stock now!

It sounds like a shipment came in as guys who ordered from europe got theirs a week or so earlier. But I'd grab some while they are available!

 

They all ready on order, so I hope they come in with the headlight rings. Should be here next week, just in time for the new MINI.

After we got back from the ride, he showed all the information he gets from MINI, then the updates he sends his customers about their cars. I wish everyone could get service like this!

That would be awesome. You say "Maxed Out", did you get the JCW Dash? I was seriously wondering about that after ordering mine. Wondering if I should have gotten it just for the overall styling but o'well.

 

I got the info from the WW tracking website, keyed in the VIN & it appeared! estimated departure is the 16th Feb, arrival 13th Mar, so i figure we'll get the car by the end March. looking fwd to it

Yes I did. Went a little carbon fiber crazy! That's the wonderful thing about putting together a MINI, so many choices and variations to choose from. Then the aftermarket mods, never ending.

 

My MA confirmed that mine was on a ship to but the ships ability to update was down.I have to be on the same ship as you since we're ending up in the same port. According to the logs, this is going to Baltimore first.
