Nice!!

When my wife officially steals my R57, I think I'm going to have to order a JCW R56!

Hi everyone--

I ordered my 2013 Clubman last week. I haven't received an email with info on how to check the status...should I have?

I also went to their Not Normal sales event...I guess I'm waiting on that email too... nothing in my spam box.

Should I be bugging the dealer, or just relax already?

I got the new JCW logo steering wheel too, and no more little checkered flag on right side of dash either!

100% different than my 2008 MCs!!! That car was notchy when shifting!
Even with sport suspension, this one rides sooo much smoother. Also NO torque steer!

Do you have any kind of documentation from Mini that states Priority One vehicles are eligible for the $750 incentive?
I ordered my Mini last month and it arrived at the Port Hueneme VDC on Saturday, my MA said that it will be here this week, however the Sales Manager said that as of this morning that I still could not use my $750 voucher and he has not heard of or received any policy update from Mini.
He said he would need some documentation authorizing a procedure change.
I called "Ask Mini" and got absolutely no where, Mini Customer Service said to check with the Sales Manager, which I've done with no progress.

Thanks,

Thanks,

Ask the Sales Manager for documentation that states otherwise. If they can't find it either, then they have to use it

Unfortunately for me, the Sales Manager did have a document stating that Priority One vehicles had to be ordered and purchased after October 1, 2012.
He won't budge unless I can provide an updated document that states otherwise and Ask Mini was of no help.

I say Pounce on your MA.

You need a copy of your "Vehicle Inquiry Report" in order to obsessively track your MINI along with the rest of us.

Of course you must be mindful that you are asking this question in a 102 page thread filled with people obsessing over their (and others) MINI's.

Also if you need to know more about how to track your mini, that is explained in detail here.

If any of you get updated info, please share.
We'll have shipmates!

I'd call MINI. I'm no lawyer but it seems kind of sketchy that they'd send a discount voucher to consumers that didn't list all the restrictions.

I've read that this sometimes happens when a dealer doesn't have any open allocations for weeks and will simply not inform you of this, lengthening your wait.

I did call Ask Mini (and have also sent numerous emails without a response) and the customer service agent said this was a dealer issue and referred me back to the dealer to resolve and like I previously stated the sales manager showed me a document that priority one vehicles ordered before Oct. 1st were excluded from the sales incentive.
My MA called today and said my vehicle is scheduled to be delivered this week and after 6 plus weeks of waiting, I'm contemplating canceling the order and not so much because of the $750 but more so because of the run around I've been receiving from Mini USA.

There is nowhere on the voucher that limits the use of the voucher due to the order date. The pick up date yes...1/2. I would go to the regional level or consider walking the deal. This is like being on super secret probation!

Understandable. That's a pretty weasely response. After all, MINI sent you the discount email, not the dealer. It's not like the message says "Take this to your dealer, who may or may not decide to honor it for a vehicle you already ordered".

I totally get that they might not want to order it for folks who made the purchase decision prior to the the discount's availability. I just think it's weak to not just explicitly exclude those purchases from the terms and conditions communicated to the customer.

Yeah, I ordered two months before the event, as much as I want the 750 I really don't think it reasonable to get it. But it seems that either dealers shouldn't have let people register for the incentive if they had already ordered, or MINI USA should have been much clearer that it was for new customers only.

It's hard to walk after our waits but I say if you really want the incentive, cancel and reorder. At current delivery rates might only be 4-5 weeks delay?
