Huzzah! My ship made it across the Atlantic and has docked in Baltimore. Next stop is Brunswick on Wednesday, where my MINI will roll off and go through disembarkation procedures.

Just talked to customer service. My car has finished production and been assigned/released to sales. Anybody know what that means? Is it on the way to the dock or still at Oxford?

That means it should soon be on the 67 mile train to the port, then waiting for a ship. Congrats!!!

Mine boarded a ship 2 days after it arrived at the dock so it is possible.

My guess it is at the dock now. There is so much lag time in Mini's reporting system it does come down to estimating the real dates. Of course, we don't know how many units are ahead of my car at the port.

The Figaro should have arrived in Panama four hours ago. Is there no AIS tracking on the Atlantic side of the Panama canal? I don't see any ships there at all.

When I checked last week, there were no K-Line vessels that went to Port Hueneme, only WW.

That's good to know. I was looking at the K-line schedule and it didn't appear they were servicing the West Coast.
