I got to see my Roadster on the Carrier the day before when the delivery truck made BMW deliveries in Wilmington, NC & I talked with the driver he let me look it over & told me it would be at my Mini dealership in Raleigh the next morning by 9am. When I called my dealer at 9;30 next morning they said it would not be in today. I had gotten the drivers cell number & called hime & he told me the car was allready off the carrier on the lot. I called dealer back & told him that I know for a fact it is on the lot & I would be arriving in 90mins. & expected to pick it up. THEY HAD IT READY BY 1pm.that day.
It was the same day as the EVENT & i'm thinking they just wanted to keep it for a SHOW CAR.

After a long 6 week wait I'm here to say goodbye. My dealer is reneging on the $750 voucher and I won't do business with a dishonest company. I have it in an email that they would honor it on my Priority 1 car and there are no exclusions on the voucher. Fortunately my deposit is refundable. Unfortunately I just sold my car, so I'm in a rush to find something. :( you guys have been great! Have fun in your Mini's.

I just got an email from my MA confirming that MINI USA placed some restrictions on the $750 voucher in recent history. However, due to numerous complaints from many dealerships MINI USA has taken a step back and has dropped said restrictions. Please check back with your MA's about this so that you too can take advantage!

It was all stop and go traffic on the way home, so I didn't really get to test it out. There are some back roads that I will probably try to get it out on tomorrow. The clutch is very nice and smooth, the pops and gurgles are awesome. Comfortable ride, and the buying experience was probably the easiest I've ever had. Took advantage of their 1.9% financing so that more then compensated for the $750 I didn't get.
Did you sit in yours or drive it around once they unloaded it? Love the JCW bonnet stripes, and you were right about the mirrors accenting the calipers.

What an awesome day. Picked Miss Scarlett up and hit the road. What a ride. Love, love, love it. When I arrived at the dealership she was under cover. We put 100 miles on her for our first drive.
