"Those waiting for a 2013" Support Group
8 days since you went to the sale? Has your JCW made it to the dealer yet?
awesome, we're twins with the exception of the seats and jcw package. Did you get stripes? I didn't. Will do if I ever get her.
Ok, my husband brought me to Louisiana to stay with my mom who is going through several procedures for her heart and on his way back home to Pensacola he passed 2trucks with new minis and new BMWs heading west. I've still not gotten word when mine will be delivered. OL still says at the distribution center and the robot still says at port waiting for a vessel. :( I'm really getting frustrated. My MA says he spoke to someone at the vdc and they show it waiting for transport. He also asked if there was any damage that might be holding things up and she said there wasn't any record of damage. I'm hoping there was another truck that delivered today. My MA told me on Saturday, picking with me, that he wasn't going to tell me it was there until it was time to pick her up. I see so many that were on the same boat and delivery dates have been scheduled.
Thank you. She's 82 and had 5 bypasses about 6 years ago now they had to open her carotid then Friday they will stint two arteries to the heart and once she's strong enough she will have the main valve to the heart repaired. She had some complications with this first procedure, which is the reason I'm here staying with her. She's doing much better today.
We didn't get the stripes. We wanted to see how it looks without and we can always add them. I like the stripes but my wife doesn't....we have been married a long time so I know when to agree.
Hi all. Our MINI Hardtop S is finally on a boat after sitting at the docks for almost 2 weeks. We are starting to get really excited after purposely not paying too much attention (checking once a week) so that we didn't get too crazy about this whole process. Now that she is actually on a ship we would really like to follow her more closely. How do we find out what ship she is on? We would really like to track her journey.
If you are lucky enough to be on a W&W vessel, you can track the ship following the link below, I had to go to the customer centre and reload track & Trace. Enter your VIN number, into the cargo ID. This allows for tracking of the ship until it reaches international waters, then it will show-up again on this side of the (pond).

Thanks. Maybe it is just me, but when I click on that thumbnail, it is the same tiny size when the new page opens and if even if you copy it into another file format and try to enlarge it, the type becomes unreadable.
Since Friday, the ASK-MINI robot has said production on my MCS convertible is complete and it's waiting to be released to the carrier.
So this morning I called ASK-MINI and was told that it's still in the quality stage. I have some time before the next ship leaves, but should I be concerned that quality is taking this long? My production date has been saying October 12 (production started on October 2), but the woman I talked to at ASK-MINI says production isn't complete yet—they didn't have time to finish it over the weekend.
Has anyone else experienced a long production phase like this?

Mine went into production on 10/11 with a finish date of 10/22. This looks longer than the previous production cycles I've seen on line. It appears the production time is sliding out about 3-4 days over what other threads have posted. My guess is I'll make the ship scheduled out on 11/6. Thought it might get on the 11/24 ww ship but doubt it.
