My travel companion tries to be patient as I snap photos of random Minis. Or when I shove my tablet in his face pointing out that the dot in the English Channel is the ship that is on the way to Southampton to pick up my mini. But it must be wearing thin.

Your friend should be thankful you all didn't go on a vacation to England.
Can you even imagine...! You'd be at Oxford on tours all day and trying to get a good viewing of Southampton port. As for Pictures ...you'd need about 100 32GB SD Cards just to keep up.

For anyone waiting for their Mini to come into Brunswick, GA, I just got an email from my MA. I'm being told my car was picked up a few days ago!! So I'm not on a WW ship but rather a K-Line (which you cannot track) ship - 'The Athen's Highway.' Check with your MA, guess the systems were just updated.

 

Just think, in five weeks I could be in the same excited situation that you guys are on now. Well, hopefully.

Nice, just found my VIN is booked on the CAPRICORNUS LEADER, ETA in Port Hueneme on March 13th.

 

Been there - done that... Our first trip to England was in Dec 2002 when we had a MC on order. We went on a bus tour from London to Oxford and the Cotswolds and tried to talk the bus driver into driving past the MINI plant... He refused...

 

Ok, if that's true and we discover that Weaf's car has been on a ship for the past four days it would truly be hysterical...

 

Just called my MA, and he told me I got switched and that it was in transport as well, (headed to GA), so interesting. Waef, call your MA and see if you can touch base. My MA said I should be able to take delivery in a week and half or two basically.

 

My baby shipped on 2/12/13! She's on the boat Athens Highway. ETA is 2/22/13. I'm so excited I could pee my pants!

I couldn't find an Athens Highway on the marine database but I did find one just named, "Athens". Do you think they may be one in the same? Mine should be on that too, I'm in Charlotte. I think the Charleston Mini's go to Greer first then are trucked out.

 

Just found the Athens Highway on the sites, it's heading to Baltimore. ETA there is 2-16-2013. It must leave there and head on down the coast to Brunswick if yours is on there.
