"Those waiting for a 2013" Support Group
I asked my MA for an update and he says my baby is scheduled for delivery to him on Weds and I can have it same day if I want. I may have to do Thursday though, not sure....
See, I get mine today, and your just a few days later. Woo Hoo !!!!!!!
Humm...
The robot voice tells me Dover is in production with a completion date of October 26th. Looking at the WW ships scheduled to leave Southhampton around that time I see:
Assuming the October 26th schedule holds, I'll miss the Independence II sailing on the 27th but what are my chances of making The Aniara which sets sail on Halloween, four days later?

@ Cath, klsmith5 and avenger: I'm thinking that all four of us just might see our MINIs on the same ship based on the order and production dates. I placed my order for a JCW on 10/1 and have been told by my MA it's been sitting at Port of Exit since 10/15 waiting for a ship. Let's hope it's also on the Topeka. If any of you get updated info, please share.
Mini roadster s convertible
WELL I now have over 400 miles on the new ride & YES it was worth the wait. Ride is much softer than 2006 Mini S Convertible with 15K miles (both have run flats) Road noise is 35% less with top up or down. Still handles the same.
Seat heaters are improved (they now have 3 levels) Harmond Karden System has more speakers, better sound than old HK, more watts, stering is 45-50%% easier. I also like the Tubo over the Supercharger.

Nothing seems to be on PH's schedule for a few weeks after Fidelio but you might keep an eye on this document for updates: http://www.portofhueneme.org/documen...l_schedule.pdf
I never was able to find anything on the K-Line web site that indicated it but a bunch of us had cars on K-Line's Antares Leader.

I entered my VIN but didn't find any results. I have heard though, that the VIN might not be listed on the ship until the ship actually leaves port. I hope there's room on the Topeka for us!
Ok since my car was with yours I'm hoping I should hear something soon. It has to come up to Sacramento so I'm hoping to pick her up Friday. Here's hoping!
(I'm beginning to fully understand this quote from my MA right after order, "Have fun waiting!" I'm glad to hang out in NAM 1st Gears and commiserate with other owners waiting for their MINIs...cuz we're all in the same boat (pun intended, LOL).
oan, here's a bit of irony for ya: If my JCW ships on the Topeka (WW), it'll sail from Southampton on 10/24 and arrive in Port Hueneme on 11/14, and then the ship continues north up the Pacific to Tacoma, WA, which is where my dealership, NW MINI, is located! And I'm in Seattle! Geez, one would think BMW should put a VDC in Tacoma and service the entire Pacific Northwest from there rather than SOCAL! Unreal. Waiting sucks...sigh
Maybe I'm the only one who didn't spot this though.
Its not obvious (well, wasn't to me) that you click on the dates in the status table and open up more information. For example, mine just says "Discharged 10-22-2012" but if I click on that I get a whole bunch more stuff like it cleared customs on the 18th and so on.

Doh! That's right. What I was (poorly) trying to communicate was that not all cars bound for PH are on WW vessels.
In better news I just realised I misread my MA's email, my new MINI is supposed to arrive tomorrow, not Weds. But I can pick her up first thing Weds.
Well today I went out to my Dealers Not So Normal driving event and my MA told me that my MINI came in early and it was in the back lot...I can't express the excitement of that surprise. Here's some pics (she hasnt been cleaned up yet) but will be by wednesday and I will get to take her home.
Man so hard to not take her home with me today but I am shocked at the delivery time. My Order date was 9/18. Just a few days over a month.

lol thanks, you are going to love the SO! Looks sooo great in different lighting conditions.
Yes, but sometimes we just overlook these things, like we take them for granted. (I'm a Software Engineer)
