Was driving to the dealer to pick up my loaner (nice 2013 Clubman S) after work and got a call from my MA (on his day off). They found the part and my JCW MINI Coupe has been fixed. 
It was the solenoid that allowed the transmission to come in/out of park (auto trans wife negotiation). 
So tomorrow after work I get to return the loaner and pick up my MINI.
They needed some time to finish checking the fix, and detail.
I'm committing to pics no later than Sat, then may be a little too busy to post after that.

Anyone else on the California Highway ... it JUST showed up on the radar this morning and is not far from the Chesapeake Bay. Me thinks it will hit the Baltimore port sooner (perhaps tomorrow) than the projected April 1

Just received good news that Lil Raggi has arrived at Patricks Mini in Schaumburg. He goes to the Stripe Shop on Tuesday, and we pick him up on Saturday. Boy is this ever going to be a long week

Thanks. Saturday is the only day that I can take delivery on account of the fact that's dealer is 5 1/2 hours from home. So this, red lily will work out very nicely, plus snow is in the forecast for Monday night. Great April Fools weather mans joke.

When I pick him up next Saturday it will have been eight weeks plus one day from the Fridsy night that I ordered Lil Raggi thru emailing Maria. Me at Kohls in Ankeny, IA, and she at the dealership in Schaumburg , IL. Not your normal way of ordering a car, I think.

I hope we don't get any of that crap up here in Mpls..let's be done with that season for awhile. lol On that note though, I took my drivers test on April 1 in a snow storm years ago. Passed just fine but was worried they would cancel. "Not in Minnesota" the lady said. HAH!

Maria is my MA. I think that usual time now days is about 8 weeks, give or take a week. This is my second Mini from her, and remember that I have a dealer 30 minutes from my home. Two more dealers about three hours away and one more four hours away. I like the way Patricks, or at least how Maria does business. No messing around, just business in a good way. And deal

FINALLY!!! i bet your pretty excited now!! the last few days and even hours before picking up were prob the longest ever.. i spent mine looking up proper breakin techniques and so far now have about 650Miles on Bonnie (got her last friday) and am noticing my exhaust sounds deeper and deeper each 100 miles and the burble in sport mode is even more pronounced.
today on my drive into work in downtown mpls, i noticed several cars behind me hearing the backfire/burble and then backing off giving me a nice 20+ feet.
some pedestrians get a bit freaked out when i de-accelerate in Sport mode. So..do the manuals burble in sport mode when just letting off the gas too? so much dang fun this car is

ETA was updated on www.kline.com to April 1 ... Actual seems to be today in another hour or two into port in Baltimore.
I hope the stevedores are working today 'cause I know that ship won't get unloaded on Easter Sunday. I want that ship unloaded TODAY and on it's way to Brunswick TONIGHT!

Thanks everyone! I'm on NAM Mobile so for whatever reason I can't quote individual comments. I LOVE driving Moxie! Today's the day for some fun. I was stuck at work right after picking her up yesterday so I'm going to really take advantage of the beautiful weather today.

Talked with my MA briefly on Friday, they're still putting on parts for mine at the port! I won't be able to pick my MINI until at least the week starting on the 8th of April.
Good news though, I picked up a MINI loaner and she's a beauty and blast to drive! Take a look!
