"Those waiting for a 2013" Support Group
Nope... I came up with his name because he's a "redhead" as was the artist, and he's a JCW so he's going to really GO !

If you go over to the dealership now, you might learn something.
So, this is interesting, slightly. Go to the W&W page to see if a vehicle is loaded, but instead of your VIN in the cargo field, enter this booking number in the booking number field. I got this from my page where the booking number was shown.
DEBRB1123440
That is a listing of all 1,440 vehicles. I guess WM* are Minis, WB* are BMWs, and I don't know what RR's VIN is (WR? RR?). There is one on that ship, but they don't seem to be in any order I can tell.
Like I said, slightly interesting.

Vincent Van Go

LSLMINI
I asked him about that yesterday and he said he prefers "Vincent". Sorry, he's just a little uptight but I'm working on it.
So I was informed today that ours was on its last manufacturing step aka Assembly/Quality Check. . .
What am I to expect for the length of time it takes to get to the shipping point and then shipped to Baltimore. We've put on hold our vacation plans until it gets here, or until we know we will have it by a known date . . .

My timing was:
3 days from out of production to arrive at the shipping port.
9 days waiting on a ship.
8 days on the ship to arrive at the Baltimore VDC.
2 days between processing at the port and arrival at the dealership.

3 weeks! . . . I guess it's understandable. Too bad it has to seat so long to get shipped. I'm guessing that's the part that is the least predictable. On the other hand the paint will have more time to cure
and it still is better than what we were prepared for . . . crossing fingers
thx!

suckers!
Yep, in a few short weeks, we'll all have our MINIs and nobody's really going to remember who had theirs first. And those that get their last can always say, "na na na na naaaa... my MINI is newer than your MINI!!".

It's at the dealership. They have my brake duct inlets in the body shop being painted. They're waiting for the graphics/clear bra guy to put on the stripes and full bonnet clear bra. Then it's going out to a vendor for a little special treatment... assuming we can work out a little issue.
Now... how much more open can I be about what's going on with my MINI ??

Even though I have other MINIs to drive, it's still VERY hard waiting on my JCW. Pulling out of the dealership yesterday after spending some time with it was a bit of self inflicted torture.
I'm not surprised you're having a hard time finding someone. My MA said to install my clear bra the installer had to hand-cut the edge near the windshield because the machine is only programmed to cut the half-bonnet films.

Dealership took off the ones on my MINI, painting them for me, reinstalling them.
It's all good, but why didn't you just buy the red ones from the GP? No chance of paint chipping then.

but that would negate some of the JCW coloring, but then again... hmmm I'm still guessing.. maybe I should go over to Baltimore and check for myself.. hehehe
