Hey Pat-

I called the miniusa toll free number today and asked for more details and they were very easy and friendly to deal with. I ordered mine from Mini NW on November 22nd and was told it started production on November 27th and will finish on December 3rd. The paint is being finalized today. They couldnt tell me when my Mini would be transported though but it would be nice if it would be within the next week. My guess is your MCS's are being built the same time - actually week 48. I'd call to find out to reduce some anxiousness! Well at least I had a hard time waiting.

The cars are complete. In MINI's words, "They are released to a carrier awaiting transport to a port of exit."

I am waiting for the next step. Hopefully not a week before shipping off.

Getting closer.

Pat

Okay,,, so my car was moved up in production and was built last Friday,,( woo hoo!) mine still shows as awaiting transport, but seems to me if some of yours was built or is being built this week, that mine should be ready to board?? How do you call Ask Mini? I know I have seen it on here somewhere but not finding it readily. Sounds like my mini clubman will have some really good company on the journey across the pond

Just call 1-866-ASK-MINI, have your vehicle production number or the last 7 digits of the vin.

It's an automated system but you can talk to a person if you wish.

Thanks Pat and Wannabe!! I was able to track my car, looks like I am being loaded onto the cargo ship Undine and it will leave today and if all goes as planned it will arrive in New York on 12-12-08.....!

You know, I was trying to time this for a February arrival,, looks like I am going to get my clubman earlier than ever dreamed about.
Anyone else on the Undine?

Also, if you talk to an actual person, they tend to have more up-to-date information.

Me TOO!... according to the WW website, even though ASK MINI told me it would probably be a few days. Our MINI just got to the port TODAY! Just in time! :D

BTW, I started a thread for those of us on the Undine here:

https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...d.php?t=159109

Oh, and checked the schedule (it's posted in the thread as well), and it says the Undine will reach NYC on 12/11.

Just got told that mine could be done. It still shows as in the paint shop, but the rep said they tend to let the updates slide a bit towards the end of production, then update it when it's done.
But it's not on its way to a ship quite yet. I'll try to speak to my sales guy tomorrow for an update.

It is at least a few days behind.
Go to here:
http://schedule.2wglobal.com/AppTracking/
and search by your VIN Number

Yeah, the Owners Lounge is useless.

As of yesterday, it still said my MINI was "Scheduled for Production", when really it was already on the boat

Awaiting transport according to the automated ASK-MINI.

No info on the WW site, so I think I'm on K-Line. I'll call later today and ask.

On the way to port! Yay!

It does indeed look like my car is going to be on KLine, as there are no WW Cargo boats heading to the west coast anytime soon.

Looks like I am also awaiting a ride to the port! Completed today. I'm hoping I can figure out what ship it ends up on.

How did you find this out? Your MA or is there some other way?
