Ok just got an official notification of my build week. It is a long way from the original Week 39 but at least I am certain now.

Had a chance to buy a used 3 month old MCS CR/B; but I couldn't give up my jeep for it. Been infatuated with them ever since.... Only recently have I taken the plunge
I have ordered a MCS 6spd, Lighting Blue, White Mirrors/Roof/Wheels/Bonnet Stripes, Union Jack Roof, Driving Lamps, and Xenon Lights, MFSW. I work for a BMW/MINI Dealership and even though I know I am scheduled for week 49, I still check my progress everyday on the BMW computer system. I also know that my car is scheduled to be entering the US though the NYC port, no date yet though, I guess they actually need to start building the car before they give an arrival date.

Reason: Can't believe I forgot Xenon
I like you taste in past, present, stablemates, and ordered cars. By chance is your 914 yellow and housed in the DC area. I saw one on the outer loop a few months ago.
Got confirmation today I am week 49 as well, which is good as the MINI factory holiday closure was just bumped up to 4 weeks starting 7 Dec. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/motoring/...m-deepens.html is one article; there are others if you do a search on the Google news page. Let's hope that holds up as not having my Lightnng Blue/Silver Clubman under my tree will lead to a different kind of blue Christmas
Let's hope that since the topic has been "production" that it will give them a chance to clear out the ordered cars on hand.
I think they take pride in getting the cars out fast after they are produced also.
