Week 49 support group

Quick question, if you check your VIN on the WW site, does it indicate that your car has been assigned to a vessel? Has it ever?
According to the WW site, my car was assigned to the Undine, so I was following that ship only to find out that my car is now on the Maersk Wind... and won't be here in time for Christmas or my Road trip to Iowa as I had planned based on the Undine's schedule (not to mention buying an extra set of wheels w/ all-seasons for the trip).
So anyway, I'm trying to figure out if it's common for the WW site to say your car is assigned to one ship and then put in on another.
Mine doesn't show shipped on the OL, ASK MINI says it's sitting on the dock and my MA says it's awaiting transport.
I went through WW to track it by VIN and it's definately on the TRAVIATA.
Yours could be on the following:
- MAERSK WIND, OBERON or COURAGE (All East Coast WW ships)
I wouldn't put much reliability in the other sources as they too seem to have went on holiday!
Where did you go on the WW site that gave you a ship assignment?
Mine never said anything about the ship name until it was actually loaded...
Voyage Details (This didn't show until it was loaded)
Vessel name: TRAVIATA
Port of Discharge: PORT HUENEME, CA 04-01-2009
Status Details (This is the status once it hits the dock and is updated on status change)
LOADED ON VESSEL SOUTHAMPTON 15-12-2008 11:21:00 1
RECEIVED AT TERMINAL SOUTHAMPTON 05-12-2008 02:52:00 1
BOOKED SOUTHAMPTON 04-12-2008 09:31:59 1
Are you sure?

I don't know exactly where I went on the website... I think it may have changed since then, but I'm not sure.
BUT, I copy and pasted the info directly from the website when I did it, so I still have the exact info it gave me originally.

EDIT:
I just found a reference on NAM to the page I believe I originally used to track my MINI... a "Track by Auto" page... http://schedule.2wglobal.com/AppTrac...trackType=Auto
However, that link now redirects to the only search system I can find on the current WW site... https://att.2wglobal.com/gstattweb/o...uickSearchPage
I wonder if anyone can confirm that the search system for WW has changed in the last month or so?
EDIT #2:
Having Googled "Wilhelmsen "track by auto"", I have found step-by-step instructions that match what I did to get my original information, but that no longer match the WW website. I'm fairly certain that the website has been redone since Dec. 2 when it said my car was assigned to the Undine.

So, I've been following the Undine all the way across... making plans based on when it is getting here, etc... and then my MA finally tells me yesterday that it's on the Maersk Wind (after assuring me just a week ago that it would definitely be here for Christmas). So, I recheck the WW website... sure enough, it now says it's on the Maersk Wind and I've got friend's thinking I'm coming to visit them and a set of X-lites (w/ All-Seasons) sitting in my garage that I now don't need.
Maybe the MW will come in a little early???
That's weird that yours posted the ship without status it was loaded on the ship.
Mine posted status, but didn't post the ship until it was on it!
What I posted above is EVERYTHING related that came up when I searched my VIN on the WW website. The new information I see when I search my VIN on the website is a completely different format than before.
I hope the MW comes soon, too... but since it's scheduled to be here in Georgia on the 24th, even a day or two early isn't going to help me get the car by then, probably. I was planning to leave early on the 26th, so the 24th was the last day to take delivery in time. I'd just go a day or 2 later, but the Wedding Party I was going to is on the afternoon of the 27th, and it's a ~20hr drive.
Maybe the Maersk Wind will just skip a port or 2 on the way here
And yes I'll confirm the WW site did change somewhere between the 4th and 8th of December.
What changed, I don't know since I had no tracking info posted there my 1st attempts on the 4th-5th, then on the 8th when I tried it was visually different and then I had some actual staus come up and since it's the 1st status I had seen, I had nothing to compare it to.
But "YES" the actual site where you input your cargo# did change in that time!

I mean, I don't know if it was a problem resulting from the change-over or not... but I can say that BEFORE the change-over, it said my Vessel was the Undine, and several days later, after the website changed, it said it was on the MW.
So, who knows...
The Maersk Wind was a day late getting into Halifax. 10 days on the Atlantic. WW shows it arriving in Jersey on the 19th instead of the 18th as originally planned. It looks like the Jersey VDC is closed on Sat and Sunday. So on a good day those that arrive on Friday will go out to dealers on Tues. That's right smack dab in the center of the holiday. I'm going to call my MA on Friday after the boat has arrived and try to figure out the delivery date. Looks like it's a White Christmas instead of the yellow one I'd been hoping for.

Good luck everyone!
Your babies will be there soon! The weather has been nasty here so my 5 days of driving this week have lead to a very dirty car and I just finished 50% of my break in!
To all of you still waiting, I hope they arrive soon enough for a "MINI Christmas"!

Latest info from the NY/NJ Port on the Maersk Wind:

Don't give up, yet, Mac... I'm still hoping that there's a MINI Miracle and I get mine by Christmas.

I just tracked the ship Carmen again, it looks like there was a delay. The original port arrival was Dec 21 now it's Dec 22.
Hopefully the elves at the Port Hueneme vdc can slam my baby out in time for Christmas!

I envy you. My Clubman was supposedly one of the last off the line before the factory closed for a month. A US spec car, it is essentially a ghost in the UK domestic distribution system and the MA says anyone who could help find it and speed up delivery was either furloughed at the same time the factory shut down or has gone on holiday so no car until sometime in January. Talk about a blue Christmas; at this point in time, I would just as soon have a refund.
What the heck!?! Vessel Tracker shows the Maersk Wind STILL at the NY/NJ port, just at a different dock than Mac shows above... and it's been MORE THAN 24 HOURS since it arrived.
I'm getting really tired of this. First, our MINI is supposedly on the Undine and will "definitely be here in time for Christmas" and now it's actually on the Maersk Wind (a week behind the Undine), and they're taking their sweet time, too.
So, my first road trip up North is canceled and the wheels/tires I bought for it are unnecessary... and our second road trip to the Dragon on the 29th is in jeopardy now, too.

The Wallenius Wilhelmsen site shows two arrivals and departures in New York. Maybe two different docks?
Hopefully it is on the way or already arrived at Baltimore:

According to VesselTracker, it was still docked in NY as of 12pm EST today.
It does show it in a different dock than Mac's picture shows.
So, it's not looking good for getting to Baltimore today.
Oh, and the NY Port website shows that yesterday they delayed it's departure a full day to today at 10:30 or so. So, they delayed it an entire day and STILL didn't meet that.
