The friendly folks at ASK MINI said I am now in the assembly stages and will move on to QA shortly. I think I call them to much.

 

Today the Ask Mini line said I'm in the paint shop and should complete assembly 7/16

 

Same here except mine is the 17th

I don't exactly remember seeing any of the ones after ""Blutooth IOd Adapter" on the mini configurator or at the dealer .

Actually I started the list as I was told I was a Week 29 production, but when I got an update last week, my car went into production in Week 28 and finished in Week 29. Being a purest, I was really a Week 28er, but never felt welcome there so I still came a posting here. Several Week 29ers MINIs are being completed today.

 

Oh gotcha, sorry. So I am actually a week 28 as well since mine completes tomorrow? I'll just stay here as well, great group

 

The Ask Mini Line tells me my Mini is in assembly and will be completed 7/16.... so either they have a different calendar or the Ask mini line is not up dated for todays production. In either case its close enough!!!

I am going to call ASKMINI and speak to a live person around 6 p.m. central. At that time it will be 7/17 in Oxford and I will see what the status code is at that time.

 

Congrats to everyone completing production today!!!

I'm still in the body shop, but holding onto that 7/17 completion date.

 

The automated ASK MINI says i'm still in Assembly, but the automated status seems to lag by a day.

Anyone know how to track if/when we get loaded on a train?

Take me off the list guys. I just called and they pushed me back to Week 30. They must be short on a supply to build my specific car (just a guess). Congrats to all of you finishing production this week!

It does look like there are a bunch of us that are actually week 28ers.

I m actually at the very end of week 28 , having started production either friday or saturday.

 

When you speak to a live person, ask for the status code. Here is a list after production is complete
155 - Production Completed
160 - Released to Distribution
182 - Released to Carrier
193 - Arrived at Port of Exit
194 - Selected for Shipment
195 - Shipped from Port of Exit
196 - Shipment Arrival

 

I am in like day 4 or 5 of production but every time I call and speak to a live person, and ask for a status code, they say they don't have a status code to give.

Is there anything I should say to get them to look in the right place?

 

I'll have to try and get a status code today. Did you know that they keep a log of how many times you've called!?! Makes me want to not call so often

 

I don't understand why we have to speak to a person only to have them read it off their screen to us. The owners lounge could easily have this information on it.

 

I just got the word that "your vehicle is being transported to the shipping carrier" today (7/15/08). Does anyone know which vessel we might get on to NYC ???

 

I totally agree. The information is obviously stored in some database that the live people on the phone are searching via our order number. I don't see why the OL and the automated message service can't run off the same database.

Automated jusy told me I'm scheduled for completion on July 20th (sun.). So I really am still a true week 29er (finger crossed). I thought I was way off from completion considering automated said I was scheduled to begin production some time this week just two days ago. I must have begun production last Saturday if that 8 day production thing is true.
As our fellow 29er evil command ctr posted earlier ..."Exxxxxcellent (rubbing hands together Mr. Burns style)."

Anyway this calls for an update...
First, Invaliduser, we will not remove you from the list. Anyone who has ridden with us this far stays on .....(we'll just put TBD beside your name.)

Second DMAC57 will be added. He is an honorary 29er regardless of start or completion week because he started this thread and started the list.

I'm cheating a little bit by posting beside my name before the date but what the heck. Everyone else, as you get completed, repost with your date beside it. We should have a couple today with Helenamini and Flytime.

The FIGARO leaves Southampton on 7/18 and arrives in NY on 7/26. The FEDORA leaves on 7/21 and arrives on 7/31....no doubt you will be on one of those ships

I got a scare today when an uninformed BMW rep at ASK MINI told me I was scheduled for week 31. Then I called back and the automated line confirmed 7/20 completion.
