Ok....now the K-line scheduling posts are making sense.....so am I the only one of the 29ers left on the dock

 

I suspect that you will be on Southern Highway with the rest of us, but not know it for a few days. If this is the case, you will only be able to find out from your MA. With the exception of the stop in Newark (NY), I believe that is the expectation when one is booked on K-Line.

I'm not sure if I'm on board the Southern Highway either. I'm hoping we are both on board. I was so busy at work today that I didn't get a chance to call my MA.

I guess I'll try to call Monday. And.......Of coarse, the Mini website says I'm still awaiting transport.

 

One more and I'll get off. DoubleO, How did you find out What time you were loaded onto the S.H.?

Ordered on 7/02 and scheduled to arrive in the states on 7/31 ... not bad at all.

I have found OL tracking to be about 4 days behind. In fact, the current status of my MINI on OL is "Awaiting Transport" even though the WW site has a status of "Loaded on Vessel".

I have no idea why MINI does not have a real-time status, particularly when one can just call ASK-MINI and get the current status.

 

I got this info off the WW site in the Auto Cargo tracking.

Well l completed production on time but have no confirmation of when or if I have boarded a vessel. I'm thinking I'm on a K line boat headed to Charleston which woud be fine with me since that is the final destination for my car.

Is there really no way of knowing if you made it on a K line boat?

Your MA should know within the next few days if you made it on the Southern Highway. Your completed date of 7/20 may be early enough for your MINI to be on the Southern Highway.

Outside the few of us that are booked through WW on K-Line, I don't recall anyone seeing anyone else posting a message yet that they found out they were on Southern Highway.

 

I'm very excited........
Figaro is docked and my Mini will be unloaded to the VDC. VDC does not work weekends. I'll have to wait til Monday to see when it will be shipped up to my dealer.

WOW...I thought PWClubman would be the first of the 29ers....now it could be a competition. Regardless good luck.

I am envious because I completed with yooz guy and may be on the Southern Highway or sitting on the dock still waiting for a ride.

 

According to my MA, (and he isn't much help to begin with) he cannot tell me what ship my car is on but he did tell me that is should be in the Atlantic by now. So I did some research with the help of NAM and I figured it should be on the Fedora since its the only ship traveling to Brunswick in early August. I tried putting my VIN number on Auto cargo and it doesn't come up. Should it be all caps? Can anyone shed some light for me?

Just tested this and found that the VIN is case insensitive, so you will get the same results whether you type the VIN in CAPS or lower case.

Based on the completion date of the 19th which you posted elsewhere and your MA statement, I would agree that the Fedora is the only candidate for your car.

I am quite surprised that you are not seeing it on the WW site. Maybe if you can find the Booking number for someone else on Fedora (post/check on the All Aboard Fedora thread), you can search by Booking number instead of VIN and then search (CTRL-F) the list of VINs on the page of results. Hint, click "Printer Friendly Version" to get all VINs on the same page.

I guess you can put me on the list. As far as I know, my car should be on the Fedora. It doesn't show up on any manifests.

I really can't believe it but its only been 30 days since I placed my order for my MINI! It feels like its been at least twice that amount of time!

 

Congrats Flytime. I bet you may have your car by the end of the week. That should also show the rest of us East Coasters how long to expect once our cars arrive.

Make sure to take lots of pictures when you get your MINI.
