Do you know you are on K-line? The WW Figaro goes to SC on 7/29 after it stops in NY. Could your Mini be on this ship???

Production completed 7/17 and waiting to be released to the carrier says the automated voice; en route to port says the live person.

Waiting on the ship will be a killer.

especially since if I'm not mistaken you re the one I was talking to earlier about ship times and me being in a similar situation where production completes two days prior to a ship leaving.

Mine will be headed to Charleston. I used the link to track my Mini on the ship, it is not there yet. Hopefully it will make it there later today.

 

Booked on the TURANDOT! Hooray! I'm definately happy to see that this morning. I wonder when they start loading the ship.

 

You guys who were completed on 7/16 getting booked already rock! Makes me feel better about my chances of making the Figaro or Carribean Highway!

 

I just realized, after the Fedora departing on 7/21... the next ship heading to NYC from either shipping company is 7/31.

I finish production on 7/20, so I really, really hope they can rush my MINI to the pier so that I can catch the Fedora.

Otherwise, that is nearly two more weeks of waiting!!

 

I DID have my VIN typed incorrectly and Travis is booked on the Turandot, leaving tomorrow, 19 June!

In fact, SuperGreg, our babies were booked at exactly the same time on June 3.

But mine beat yours to the terminal by 7 hours. He sure is a zippy lil thing.

 

I'm still not sure what week I am in. I ordered 7/5/08. I called ASK MINI this morning and the Computerized person said my car is in the paint shop. I got a representitive and she says the car is finished. That seems pretty fast to me.
I hope the delivery comes that quickly.

 

if i read kline corretly, it looks like we can make the souther highway , i think it leaves on the 25 or 26th. if we miss the Fedora.

My VIN isn't showing up with WW, so I will assume it will be on the Caribbean Highway. I haven't called ASK MINI and talked to a live person...will they tell you what ship you are booked on?

BSU...are you a Dark Silver also? Did you buy in Milwaukee or Illinois?

 

I don't know. It looks like all the K-Line ships go straight to Charleston. I did not see a NYC stop on the schedule. Since you are in PA and I am in ME, I doubt they would send our cars to South Carolina...

I really hope we make it on board by the 21st. I don't want my MINI sitting on the pier for 10 days, with all the seagulls which have to relieve themselves...

 

Ask mini is not much help with the overseas tranportation. Try your VIN several times. I had errors, but I can see my Mini was loaded onto Figaro at 4:31

If that doesn 't work contact your MA at your dealer.

for the WW line, nyc, is actually jersey city.
for the k line, it says newark, but I think it too is referring to jersey city

 

Where do you guys get the Owners Club badges?

 

I don't know, from the K-Line schedule, it looks like Newark is on a different itinerary... but I could be wrong.

Ideally, we'll catch the 7/21 and there won't be any issues. WW seems much easier to track.
