I believe there is a K-Line ship leaving on the 21st for Charleston.

 

Anyone who was completed on 7/16 see a change in OL yet. OL still shows me scheduled for production. OL certainly isn't the most up to date system around.

 

Josh is my MA. He has been very pleasant to deal with.

 

OK picture this...
So I decide to call mini "customer support" today and talk to a live person regarding status rather than automated since many of you seem to be having good results. The "help" person tells me I'm scheduled for production week of July 21-28. I was driving at the time and almost had a wreck.

I asked her to please repeat..she did and ended with "your are scheduled for production of week 29" ...I responded, this is week 29 so how can I be scheduled for production next week?

She apologized fumbled around and then confirmed I was scheduled for completion the 20th...
I will not be calling customer support for updates anymore. Automated is just fine with me.

OL still lists me as Scheduled for Production. I lost faith in any worthwhile updates comming from the OL. I think it lags reality by two days.

 

That's funny, I had the same exact experience yesterday. I think sometimes you can just get a clueless agent, or in my case, what appeared to be a BMW agent covering a MINI call...

 

Good news I hope. I called AskMini this afternoon, and they told me mine was in transit to the port . I am really hoping that mine makes the Turandot that leaves port on the 19th. It will then show up in CA on 8/9. Maybe all the stars are aligned?

 

Mine says Awaiting Transport.

I am not sure what week I am but I am hoping its earlier than later. I set up a countdown timer on my computer to help me out with the wait. My mini was suppose to be built this week and completed July 19th. Not sure if that is when its suppose to start or when its suppose to be completed. The dealer said I had the 150 code so I hope that means in has started. Wish me luck. Can anyone help me?

Awaiting transport on OL. Spoke with askmini customer rep and he felt there was a good chance that she'd make it on the 7/19 ship. I plan to check the 7/17 ship to make sure she didn't sneak on while no one was looking. Rumor has it she's pretty ornery and she's very anxious to meet us.

 

The mini site says "Awaiting Transport."

I've checked the ww shipping site but no joy when I plug in my VIN. I hope I copied it correctly.
D'oh!

 

I'm seeing Awaiting Transport on the OL as well. Haven't been booked on a ship yet.

Now I'm excited to say the least.
Since mine finished production on 7/17, I was really hoping to make it on the Turandot which leaves on 7/19, and arrives at Port Hueneme, CA on 8/9. Automated ASKMINI states I am still awaiting transport to the port. I believe there is a K line ship leaving for Charleston DC on Sunday....hope I am on that ship.
