if you mean a silver cab that looked mighty sweet, i think i saw it parked with it's back to el camino. by the way, my pick experience was much better than the purchase; i felt cared for vs. the purchase day which was just plain weird. my car was in great shape and waiting in the showroom when i arrived. good luck and keep us posted.

That is an atypical American Garage...I think you could do surgery in there . I see vents for environmentals....do you heat and cool the garage? I see a TV....do you get banished to the garage often? You know I am just pulling your leg and quite envious of such a great looking garage. Mine has been reorganized and for the first time in seven years will be a two car garage.

Heading over to the dealer in a few minutes to snoop around to see if any MINIs are on the lot. It was vacant this past Wednesday.

Yes, I like a clean garage. It keeps the insects at bay! No, I don't heat/cool the garage. Those are vents you are seeing. It's a fire code thing I think. It can be 115 degrees here in the summer, and it helps to manage the heat. The TV stand was there when I bought the house, so I put a tv up there. It comes in handy when I'm waxing the car etc...

Did you spot any MINI's at your dealer? I hope so!

 

I was at the dealers....I am getting my MINI piece-meal. My MA gave me two boot mats . Still no new update. Her pipeline sheet shows a Monday arrival. She says they are getting two trucks a day...(the dealer also sells BMW, Benz, Land Rover). She says if it is the first truck Monday, then I should be able to take delivery Monday evening, if not, I will wait until Wednesday since she is off on Tuesday.

Picked mine up today!!! It was a pretty painless experience at the dealer. When I got home I noticed the cap on the rear bumper for the tow hook is missing I called my MA but no response yet.... they better give me a new one!

Since I have a cabrio, my boot is small, can't imagine why I would have two mats, but will see what it looks like when I place it in the boot. I know it has a little extension to cover the bumper from scratches. If I have no need, I will let you know.

 

Forgot you had a cabrio, won't work with my hardtop :(

I also have a Cabrio and I can tell you that there is no room for a second boot mat! Also, the boot opens down (like an old station wagon), so there is no chance for scratching the bumper.

I am thinking about getting the Cargo-Link for my Sportlink because there is so little room in the boot!
