I just spoke to my MA. The car gets to the dealership tomm, but their service department is closed during weekends. So they start prepping the car Monday and takes about 48 hours and expected delivery is Thursday. Almost a week more

And I did ask is there any way we can take delivery this Sunday, he said: " yeah, if you are willing to drive at 25mph with no electronics in a dirty car". Apparently there is padding in the shock absorbers they need to remove and plug in the power cord for the electronics. Learn something new about our babies everyday.

No, seriously... It really is worth the wait! All of my Dealer issues are quickly fading into the distance! WooHoo!

My MA just called and said the truck arrived and the MINI has been unloaded today. He spoke to the service department and is going to have the car ready for a Sunday 3pm pickup. I am probably the exception, I have a had a great MA and dealership experience (Northwest MINI at Fife, WA). I did still pay MSRP + ~$700 dealership cost like most others.

I got to stop coming here. All of these pick-up and scheduled pick ups and I am still waiting for my MA to call. I am making a surprise visit tomorrow....just to see if there are any MINIs on the lot. I went by on Tuesday and there wasn't a MINI to be seen, lot, showroom etc.

 

Wow, your truck got you yours all the way to Washington state, and I'm still waiting here in AZ for mine to be delivered. I knew I shouldn't have had the VDC do the sport stripe install. I'm sure that's the delay

Good news...my OL finally was updated...It finally says its at the VDC. How do you find out when it will be at the dealership?

 

Ok... so the battery in my real camera died, and I had to take these with my iPhone camera. You can still get the idea, I think, though for some reason my laptop loaded them in sideways and I can't seem to get them right side up...

I am adding some Motegi Track Lite rims (black), and an Alta stubby, in addition to an all black Minspeed grille.
