Well my car is at the dealership - there is a short or something causing the hazards not to work. It was so hard giving the keys up, but I'm okay because I'm going to Chicago for a short vacation. I hope you guys have a great 4th. Talk to you soon!!!

Wow. I hope that everything will be fixed for your MINI. The only issue that we had was the driver side window wouldn't auto up. Found the fix here in the NAM forums and the reset worked! Gotta love NAM!

Road trip to Pensacola got us 34 MPG.... only on one tanks of gas too!

 

I have one problem too, there is a white line across the leather on the passenger seat, the dealer says he's going to get me an appointment and if it turns out to be a defect replace the bottom part of the seat, hopefully I can get it done soon, but apparently the BMW service shop is quite full..... *sigh* At least I noticed it before I drove off the lot!!!

 

Well my ex-husband had his first Clubman sighting yesterday. Apparently he was downtown while I was motoring around. I came home to a message on my answering machine..."WOW, congrats on the MINI, it looks great! Love the back doors!"

Hey guys...

Chillin out right now getting ready to go see Wicked. We've had a blast up here. Chicago has so much to do - we maybe back here soon. MTTS is in a few weeks and I've planted the bug in my wife's ear.

I got a call late Thursday - Brunswick VDC wired the driving lights wrong and it messed up the hazard lights (it caused a short). I'll have Elphie (aka my MINI ) back Monday.

As soon as you mentioned your hazzards, I went out and checked mine! Glad Elphie will be home Monday. (stoopid VDC!)

I'll be in Chicago on business in a couple weeks. Wish I had time to catch Wicked while I'm there, but I don't think it's possible...grrrrrrr. Enjoy the show and have a safe trip home!!

9 Mini's were in the Oak Lawn 4th of July Parade last Friday (a CMMC event in Chicagoland).

Elphie was at home last night. And she's happy to be home.

The dealership fixed the wiring issue and she's at 100%.

 

oh, btw, I got my first (yet minor) mod done today - windows tinted and looking fine!

I found a particularly awesome twisy near my house...sport mode on, and have gotten up to 48mph on the turns...WAHOO!

Life has been treating me well. Gotta love motoring in the MINI! Following our gas mileage for mostly city driving and have been averaging 31 mpg for city! WOOT!

LOL Got a little upset at myself... I am enjoying motoring so much, I was detailing the toys and found some surface rust on the brake discs on my motorcycle! LMAO. You know... the rust you get when you have a vehicle sitting for a while.......
