I just got a call from my MA from Mini of Concord letting me know that my MINI is coming soon! He gave me a guess of this Wednesday or Thursday. It sounds too optimistic but I hope its true because I'm graduating on Friday! That would be the awesomest of awesomes that ever awesomed. Even Saturday would be a great, I'd consider that perfect timing. Oh man I'm so nervous and excited, I hope I remember how to drive manual

Don't get too terribly excited. I believe they need at least a few days at the VDC, then at least 1-2 days to get to Norcal.

That puts delivery for you around 6/16 at soonest, but 6/18 more reasonably. Possible late delivery would be 6/20.

For So Cal people, we're probably 1 day sooner. **JUST A GUESS**

Good Luck, congrats on graduating also. Do you remember when your MINI was loaded? My optimism stems from the fact that my MCSm was loaded towards the end of process. I'm hoping last on, first off, first to dealer.

At any rate, I think we are within 5-10 days.......

what what WHAT?!? Well, boy howdy that would be real nice...since mine *might* be on your same truck...going to Niello...that would be sooooo cool to get mine this weekend!!!! I can't wait to drive manual, I keep downshifting in traffic, but it's not the same with my "sport transmission" on my automatic Subie...oh man oh man oh man

Oh, and congrats on graduating!!

Congraduation!!

Just spoke with one of my MA's ( I have 2 co- MA's), and he said very soon. He'd know much more as soon as it's off the boat and to expect a call.

I think I'm going to get a bit screwed on the trade in. They want to re-evaluate it since the market has changed in the last 4 weeks. I've had it posted for 2 weeks without 1 single call, so I guess I'll take what they give me.

Anyone getting a clear bra to protect the mini?

This is soooo exciting! Dock boat dock!!

That would be very neat if you could post any pics you might get! My friends, family and coworkers have been bombarded with pics, maps and updates since I started this whole event...they would really get a kick out of a pic of it arriving on US soil! They love that I have a "support group".

The shipping update hasn't changed in two days? I wonder if it will actually dock today.

I have a MY MCS on the ship.

This link is to the current vessel schedule from the Port of Hueneme's website. Shows the Boheme for today. If I read it right there are 670 Minis on board! Too bad there isn't a webcam...

I can't see a thing on the island. We are fogged in. I am tempted to hail the Boheme on marine band and welcome them into SoCAL waters on behalf of us MINI owners to be.

But with security the way it is today I will do it in my dreams......

FWIW, I just called Wallenius Wilhemsen to find out if Boheme had made it into PH and they confirmed it would dock this afternoon or early this evening.

Thats great news. Thanks.

This proves it is infact a BOHEME S. Just had to use overboost to make up for the lost time.

Weeee! So close! =)

Almost makes me wish I didn't get the driving lamps so I wouldn't have to wait for them to be installed at the distribution center. Dealer says my Mini should be early next week. Wee

I must be nuts......
I talked to my MA and we discussed the probability of a Saturday, Jun 14 pickup. He said there was a slight chance, in part dependent on when my vehicle was loaded. The theory being last on, first off. So I went to the WWL website and entered my VIN number. The display then generated the booking number. I entered the booking number and had the website display the printer friendly version. All 670 minis were listed. I then copied the list, pasted it into Excel, and then sorted by load time.

I found out that my vehicle was 88th from last on. So the theory says I will be the 88th off.

Give it a go if your as weird as me,........

Trailbender,
I have had the same thoughts about my dealer installed options! Especially since I have a quote of 10 days for it to get to my dealership (Portland, Oregon) and then 5 business days for them to install options. But...my Mini just wouldn't be *my* mini without those extras! I've waited this long...what's another couple weeks in order to have it just right!?!
