I am just curious, since I haven't heard a word yet...are any of you whose cars are ready getting any extra special dealer installed equipment?

Just spoke with my MA and my mini hasn't been loaded on the carrier yet, but they do load over the weekend. It'll be a few days...

I just emailed my MA... Finally, she said that possibly late Saturday, most likely Sunday it would be ready at South Bay Mini. So that means Long Beach should be around the same time frame

Your MA wasn't kidding when they told you the 14th. Congrats.

Did you get any options? I didn't do any other VDC installs

 

I just spoke with Bernie Claire, the sales manager at South Bay Mini. My Mini has arrived at the dealer in Torrance and is ready for delivery. Just needs to be cleaned up a bit and she is ready to go.

 

Saenz74, did you bypass your MA and go directly to the sales manager?

 

No VDC installs, all factory options. No dealer installs also...

my MA was actually the fleet manager, Avi Nemes. He was busy so I got the sales manager on the line to tell me where the car was. The sales manager told me he had seen the car with my name on it early today so he was 100% sure it was delivered even though the computer still showed at the VDC in Oxnard. I still have to get it trucked to Sacramento so hopefully I'll have it early next week.

 

Hey Trojanman, how was the delivery experience. I am also getting my car from Philippe and he said mine will take a few days more.....

 

My Mini got to the dealer today, now I will need to wait for my check to clear because of my physical address being outside the State... I'm hoping I can take a photo of my baby on Monday when I got drop the check off....

 

Hey...we may be on the same truck. Are you at Niello? My MA said Tuesday delivery...if so, we'll pick it up on Saturday. Only 1 more week! should be enough time to clean out my Subie and turn it in...lease up on the 26th...cuttin' it close!

Just heard from my MA...my Mini will be in Portland, Oregon on Tuesday!

I have a few dealer installed options (clear bra, sport stripes and driving lights) so I'll have to wait a bit longer than that to pick it up.

Hope this info helps those of you who haven't heard yet...especially those of you in California. Seems like if mine can make it to Portland by Tuesday all the California ones should be at dealerships by then!

 

Nope, I bought my Mini through Autoland, the car broker. They used South Bay Mini to get the car. Autoland is arranging trucking from Torrance, where South Bay Mini is, to Roseville, where their local office is. It's getting trucked Tuesday so I should have it by Wednesday. Niello gave me a crappy monthly payment, Autoland/South Bay Mini beat them by $45 a month...I hope it worked out for you!

 

Nice...yeah, we didn't do financing there, but they were the only ones who had a May production slot left in NorCal, so there ya go.

now we're cleaning out our tiny tiny garage to see if it'll fit. Could be an exercise in futility, but, hey, at least we'll have a clean garage.

 

Anyone in Nor Cal received there MINI's yet?

 

I want to know too! It seems my MA isn't telling me much because he hasn't responded to my e-mail or my voicemail.

Emailed my MA just now and she said that she'll call port to see if she can get some info on when to expect it. Makes me a bit worried since MINImizeMe said that the sales manager told him his car was at the dealership, which is the same as mine.... hope no damages like what was posted in another thread

 

I think I saw that other thread too...Mini with a roof smashed in???? Yikes!!! I hope no damage either!

 

Lets put it this way. If your car is not at the dealer by Wednesday, something is up

 

Amazingly, my owner's lounge was updated with a delivery date of 6/17...Tuesday! Check under "order details"...hope that helps!!!

 

Thanks for the tip! It's nice to see something on the OL, since I'm getting nothing from the MA. Mine has an estimated delivery date of 6/20.

This is the longest wait ever! I hope it's the stripe installation slowing it down and nothing else...
