Hey guys, My baby is still at the dealers waiting for my check to clear.
I took some bad cel phone pics yesterday at the dealers and since I've really gone through a lot in order to get this car I'm calling it "MacGyver"
Sorry for the bad pics, I'll take real shots when I get it home.

Congrats to you all. I just picked up mine this afternoon and have been cruising around for the last hour and a half. So much fun!!! Got a big smile on my face even as I write this.
My MA really hooked me up because it's my bday today - card, balloons, some mini accessories and floor mats! To Amanda at Soutgh Bay Mini - she's the best! It was a painless process. Happy motoring to all!

Congrats to all who FINALLY have their cars!!! Woooooooo!
Is it me, or did the P.H. VDC have our cars for an inordinately long time? I hope nothing tragic happened and that it was just backlog or really busy there (which would make sense since almost 2000 cars got dropped off there in a 24 hour period.) I guess this is one way that MINI gets us loyal...anticipation makes it oh so much sweeter when we finally get to drive!

I think that they were a little backlogged at the port. Last night when we were picking ours up, they were dropping off eight more Minis off of a truck. They only had one or two available for sale on the lot. The rest are special order. I really hope you hear something soon! I absolutely love my new car!!!!!

I'm going crazy with anticipation! And I can't get my MA to return my phone call! When I called yesterday they said there were 10 deliveries and he was swamped. Where's mine???

Just got a message from my MA - finally - and according his status screen they are just loading my mini on the carrier today. He said it's about 2-3 days from there. So much for the 6/20 delivery date. Bah!

I just got call from my MA that my MINI is here. YAY!!!
The dealership is about 1 hour drive... and also through LA downtown
. So, I will pick her up (or it is him ??) on Saturday morning

Damaged new Mini prior to delivery...
After following up with my MA today to inquire why my delivery has been delayed and if it had been damaged in transport, I was finally informed that my car is in the body shop at the VDC to fix a small "blemish" on the rear panel.
Of course, I never would have known to ask if it were not for these discussion forums...
Disappointing news, but still hopeful that I can pickup my car on Saturday (assuming that I am satisfied with the repair work). Should I be asking for any additional warranties or freebies?
