Hey guys, who do I ask re: receiving instant e-mail notifications from our thread? Somehow I noticed I've stopped getting them. I've always clicked on the link from my e-mail...

 

haha soooo tempted, but I am the only one there on saturday that is on my team, if I call out sick I will screw the entire store and a bunch of customers.

I would have a huge guilty conscience, but a huge smile on my face haha

 

Yep....you got it. There are things to do and people to see. The job is both why I need a MINI in the first place and how I am affording it! Since I love my job, love my team, and really enjoy what I get to do there, I'm definitely there as soon as I get things wrapped up with delivery. Besides, I don't really have any where to go yet besides putzing around for the heck of it, and I'll have all weekend for that.

 

I think i may be working a half day, then picking it up before Ottos closes up shop for the night (saturday).

Altoid is a beauty. I sympathize with your having to work and not being able to get away. I am hoping Maggy arrives near the weekend 'cause I have the same problem. Can't get away and there is no one who can fill in for me. If she comes in early in the week, I might think about having my dear husband pick her up, but probably NOT!!!

I have none as of this moment because it seems like most of my friends are more excited than I am about me getting PeeWee! Wouldn't stop asking me everytime they see me! Which is a A LOT!

I have seen a thread here somewhere about what non-MINI lovers have been commenting and the replies the MINI-obsessed have been supplying them. Funny thread.. lemme see if I can find it.

Holy Cow! The OL just changed my status from "Awaiting Transport" to "En Route"! (I was assembled on June 6.) So I just called Ask Mini and Robovoice is now saying "your vehicle is in transit". I'll stop by and talk with my MA tomorrow (he does not reply to email very well) to find out which boat my MCS is traveling on.

 

I have it memorized. Quizz me. (As if there is good mechanical information in there.) We need a true Gen II service manual!

Hang in there StarryEyed! Even though my baby will be in port soon, I can't take delivery for another month! My MA said that Mini won't release my baby from port until the '09 JCW's "Official" launch date of July 14. Of course my MA never told us that we'd have an extra wait! They shipped my baby way too early ... They should have given his spot to you!

 

But of course, Nugget is still julted that Altoid left without her! but I have a feeling they will meet up at some point! I hope!

Nugget is getting into NY tomorrow morning!!!
I talked to Holly this evening, we are getting the finally paperwork together, i want all the paperwork complete before i get there, so when i do it will seriously be sign and drive!!!
How long did it take for Altoid to get there from NY? I was told 5 to 7 days? ugh. If Nugget gets there friday and I'm hoping for next thrusday or Monday the 30th because i will be out of town friday to Sunday.

 

Altoid got in on Monday the 16th, and arrived Thursday the 19th (today)....

3 days is apparently really really quick as far as they say, so I hope Nugget is as speedy as Altoid.

 

thank you, I hope so too! then I could have her on Thursday ... If she get in on Firday hopefully she will get in by mid next week, I will go sign and then take her back for the road block.

Kudos to you for putting your work a priority and caring about your customers. I'm feeling a *cough* cold coming on. No can't do that but already told them i will leave as soon as I get that call!

Jack Jack should be driving onto US soil any minute now! So hopefully I'll have him in another week.
