Anyone know how many stops before Charleston?

 

Both the email from my MA and the K-Line schedule show the Western Highway at the Charleston Port on 6/26. The MINI OL site still shows the vehicle in Awaiting Transport status. My MA says it typically takes ~10 days across the pond (13 per the K-Line schedule) and another 10 days to get from the Charleston VDC to the Bloomington, MN BMW/MINI dealer. I'm hopeful I'll have my MINI the week of July 7th.

Here is the skinny on NYC VDC arrivals from my MA. Apparently they only work business days, what nerve! So all MINIs that arrived over the weekend were booked into the VDC system yesterday and have a 3 day trip through their processes. That means tomorrow they finish and might go on trucks!

Then again, my MA has been consistently...delayed, in the time lines he has put forth verses reality. So we can hope for even sooner!

hey, has anyone on a k-line ship tried to get a Bill of Lading number from their MA? the k-line website does allow tracking of B/L #s

My MA gave me the bill of landing but what good is it to me at this point?

 

Go k-line's application page, plug in your b/l and see if it gives you any information.

or this page, tracking is on the bottom right side, choose "BL no." from the drop down.

Sorry, i dont know what K-line's number looks like. My Bill of Lading from WW looks like GB777***.

so what is the first thing you people are doing when you get your MINI? I am going to be removing the wheels and waxing them, maybe getting mudflaps and installing them.

 

clear bra. for sure. maybe two.

i drive past a slew of rock quarries + gravel trucks on the highway daily.

 

Waxing the wheels will be one of the first...

Along with a clear bra and tint, which will hopefully all happen on the same day...

 

Putting a MCS spoiler on the MC and getting it tinted!

 

Spoke with my MA tonight. I got an email from Mini Financing saying "Your LB with silver stripes Mini is enroute" MY MAGGY IS MELLOW YELLOW WITH WHITE!!!! Freaked out all day. Had to be in court and couldn't even try to reach MA until nearly 6pm tonight. He was terrific. Triple checked and confirmed that my Maggy is indeed on SNH and is MY/W. He said she should be here in about a week and a half or two weeks!! Can't wait. I won't be fully sure until I see her though.

 

First thing for me will be new wheels and tires, tint, and hopefully my graphics doewn the side if they're done!

 

I don't know what I'll be doing next as soon as I get Peewee. But one thing's for sure.. I'm doing something and my brother is giving me 2 weeks.

He said he's betting he won't see me at home for the next 2 weeks..

 

Motoring, of course! Not sure what as far as mods. Will have to see what the pocketbook will allow then.
