I saw a few postings with confusion over the chart I put together. Is there anything I need to do to make it clearer?

 

When I spoke w/ the rep today, he indicated that my car could possibly be done.....opps, I mean born....... on Tues, possibly Wed.

I'll call Monday for an update.

I am supposed to be week 23 and have ordered the first batch of the JCW 09 Hardtops. But when I check my status (when the site works) it is always the first stage, on order. How does everyone else know the boat etc. Perhaps I should call my MA again...
Any advice?

 

Talk to a rep at ASK-MINI. The OL is always behind a couple days. The automated at ASK-MINI is a little behind (say in the paint shop for mine even though it is out the door). The reps have the best info.

Looking at that ship sheet, it looks like my baby will be on Asian Chorus headed to CA, arriving July 3rd... I'm moving to Seattle and expecting to be there the 12th.. I might be showing up just in time! if not late...

 

are there people at ASK-MINI today? as in if i call can i find out where my car is?

 

One way to find out. The voice response system is always up though. Call early and often.

 

yeah i called, the automated system is on, but no real people around.

 

yeah! Our mini is being moved to wait for transport! since it'll be coming to CA, looks like we'll be on the Rigoletto! woo hoo!

 

StarryEyed- we are in the same predicament still. We also ordered on the same date (I am in MI as well but ordered from Ohio) I think our Mini's are probably going to be built around the same day/time. It's frustrating though that OL hasn't been updated for me in over 2 weeks.... still "on order"

 

StarryEyed- I haven't spoken to my Motoring Advisior since the day after I ordered (5/16) but I called him today and he knew exactly who I was and said that he checked the status (which is nice to know he does even when I am not inquiring) and HE said that mine went into production today- YAY! and that it may take a day or two for the OL to update. Really it sounds like your MA will have the most up to date info. I was so excited when he told me that though since all OL says is "On Order" and ASKMINI keeps telling me "scheduled for production with no production date yet." I was really impressed though that he knew exactly who I was, which car I ordered and where it "is" as of today- IN LABOR!!!!

I love you sig. I'm having trouble downloading images, except for one, when ever I try to download another it overrides the first. I'm sure it's simple and I'm doing something silly, I will figure it out though.

 

what images are you trying to download? i can help out if you would like.

 

i was trying to download either another badge (Sparkling Silver) but that just replaced the "on order" badge. Then I tried to download an actual photo of a mini convertible in SS color but that would take either. Am I doing something silly?

 

i'm not sure how the hole badge thing works out, it took me a while to figure out how to get my picture in to my sig as it is haha and thats only one pic. I'll see what I can do though.

DanceForMINI- I've talked to my MA like 7 times since I ordered and I'm so afraid I'll bother him. Everyone says that a bad relationship with your MA is a horrible thing. I'll just wait til Monday.... My MA def knows me! I call all the time! I've changed the color of my mini and changed my mind on a couple of accessories.

 

DChap, I think you and I both ordered from Otto's on the same day. You were with the manager I was next desk over. Can't wait to see when ours are born and delivered!

 

yeah, you worked with Brook correct? He's a cool guy, he gave me my first experience of Ottos. I would have worked with him but the manager Chad knows my dad and I got dragged away more or less.
