Should I call today? I mean, i know they are going to say either in the body shop, or paint shop, then QC tomorrow, there is no point, but I still want to call haha.
DChap- I want to call too just to get an exact location instead of "In production"- everyone else found out when they were in the paint shop etc... besides "that's what they're there for!"
so do something fun with it, turn it into a demo dirby car and drive into stuff.... or take it on a rally special stage, or just set it on fire for the fun of it haha
ha ha no way!!! I need to sell it! It's going toward the mini! I got a LOT of options.... so I need the cash!
That's another thing that is adding to the tension of the wait. The way prices are going with used SUV's, I keep having these waking nightmares that my dealer is gonna tell me he doesn't want to do the agreed trade on my old truck due to the sliding used SUV market. It's amazing how that segment of the market is going to h*ll so fast!
Just another thing to obsess about while waiting for my Clubman!
Rich
Interesting you should say that about you dealer and trade. My dealer said they do not trade, so i'm forced to sell it myself! hum....
1) Take all the emblems off
2) Go to your MA
3) Buy a bunch of Mini and Clubman emblems
4) Stick those on the Buick
5) Put it up for sale again, but don't call it a Buick
I just did a tracking for the ship Nugget is on and it said not available! DChaps I think Nugget is hiding waiting for Altoid!!!
Darn her, she is already going to be a hand full!!!

I made the Rigoletto!!!! YAY!!!! Hopefully that info is correct! I gotta get to work now... lol
congrats!
I was hoping to see you in the dealership when I pick mine up, but I'd rather see you out motoring on the streets.
Talked to my MA... judging by how long it's been taking cars to reach NWMINI, it should be in, and ready for pickup the day I arrive in Seattle. What perfect timing!

My car is still showing "scheduled for production" on the Owner's Lounge site, but it was finished yesterday and is scheduled for the FIDELIO which sails tomorrow, so don't rely on the Owner's site.
I suggest that you call your sales guy. Mine was able to tell me last night that it was in transport to the Port. I think their tracking system is better than the one on the Internets.

Who knows, you may find a sucker
HAHAHAHAHA... There ARE some stupid people in MI! That's probably the only way I'm going to be able to sell it.
He is still saying it takes 7 days to get on a boat..
I think we know better.
Do we ever! I just got Raschel(sp?) to confirm my MINI completed quality checks today! She then threw in the fact that I can expect it in 4-6 weeks! I said, "well I certainly hope not!" and clearly caught her off guard. After explaining the boat schedule and that it took 8 days to NYC (not 14 as she suggested!) and 2-3ish days in customs and inspection, she backed off her original estimate. Grr! I'm feeling fiesty - I'm so impatient!
