i called and talked to someone earlier and they said mine was in the paint shop, the "perky sounding AI" still says body shop though. he is a little slow.

so i cruised through the forums a bit, it seems like people in the week 20 thread are starting to get their MINI's. Thats three weeks ahead of use, there for we could be down to 3 weeks before we start receiving also :-)
i am still thinking a month though, just so i'm not disappointed.

I'm just looking to rent though, so I'm not too concerned... There's plenty of stuff on craiglist and seattlerentals.com... I've started calling a few places already.
I'm really hoping to get a town house or a duplex or something like that. I'd prefer not to be in an apartment complex.

After another trip to Seattle this past weekend the lady and I have decided we're going to move back(well it's back for her since she's from there) out there next summer. Gives us plenty of time to find jobs paying comparable salaries and somewhere to live. We're thinking Queen Anne or Capital Hill or maybe even the 'U' district. I'm actually really looking forward to the change of both scenery and pace.
Oh good, it did say scheduled completion date of June 4th, and it's 3am BST June 5th, so I guess you're right. Hopefully, i can get on the next ship leaving port.. i have a lot of driving i need to do in Aug and i'd rather not do it in my acura pushing a qtr million miles.

but seriously, I'd rather put the miles on the acura, not a brand new car. it'll last you, trust me. just my opinion.

It's In Production!
Called yesterday and was told "in production May 31, scheduled for completion Jun 6". Called today and was told. "in the body shop". I just checked the OL, and the VIN is assigned!
FINGERS CROSSED that it's in my hands by the weekend of the 4th of July! It's coming to St Louis, so assuming it doesn't get hung up somewhere, that sounds possible, considering someone on our group noticed that some of the Week 20 folks are taking delivery this week.

Yes I'm hoping to be on the ship tomorrow or friday with a *hopeful* pickup date of the week of June 30st? When I called today they said they would no longer be able to provide me with any information....at the VDC.... maybe I can find Rictus using Google Earth...

Enter your VIN from the OL on the W&W site. Instructions are in the "How to Track your MINI" thread which is "stickied" to the top of the 1st Gear section.

I am back....
This is a cross-post from the Week 24 thread.
Per the live voice at ASK-MINI, as of this morning our Clubman is in production with a completion date of 12 June. WHOO-HOO!
Now the next critical date is the ship, as I assume a well controlled process through build and delivery to the port. I am hoping for the FEDORA on 17 June.

Update on Altoid, He entered the Paint Shop today to get his shine on, came out lookin' sharp for the ladies. He's a little embarrassed though because he is missing his bits and pieces, they are being installed as we speak. He should be at 100% completion tomorrow, getting an A+ Star on his quality inspection....i mean why wouldn't he?
He is looking forward to his cruise over here, partying, drinking, eating, taking a dip in the hot tube with the lovely Nugget haha.
