Hey Mozza-Sorry about your news ... Yesterday, I posted an update on my status and AskMini was wrong-just like I had suspected. Mine hasn't been built yet-I'm still at Week 23, but they said I may "overlap" into 24 because there are so many cars being built our week. It's a complete bummer, especially for you since you've been waiting forever and you were the 1st order to go in. Hopefully Mini can get the fingers out and get the JCW's done in a timely manner!

I called the ASK-MINI line tonight and spoke with a live person for the first time. Very nice guy. He told me my Clubman's build started Tuesday (!) Completion is set for next Tuesday, June 3rd. He said to call back anytime for an update. Real friendly.

Anyone else still "On Order" in OL and "Scheduled for Production with no production date yet" on AskMINI??? :{ Getting concerned. Granted it's only been two weeks but still, I want to hear the wonderful "In Production" words too!

talk to a real person, the automated system told me scheduled with no date, and the live person said started this morning.

Called again and spoke to someone, Kristin- very nice- said that it is still scheduled for Week 23, should start Monday and "nothing has changed across the board for week 23"- maybe we are all frantically calling daily

it has changed across week 23... people bumped to week 22, and OWG along with others i'm sure got moved to week 24.
Either way, i'm sure we will all get built this week and all ship out at the same time.

It looks like those of us who placed orders on 5/10 are right in sync. I called ASK MINI and 'lo and behold, my MINI was born yesterday at 7:34AM scheduled to be complete on June 4th! Woo hoo!!
Well, I called Wed and was told that it was scheduled to start Memorial Day, but had not actually been started yet, and would probably begin next week.
Now all of you that have started are going to make me call in again!
WooHoo!!!! Gotta vin number - started production this morning. Nice way to start the weekend. I kind of feel like passing out cigars.

DChap- I think MINI gives you a specific born date after completion.
Congrats to everyone whose cars started today. Great news for you all to start the weekend.
I can't wait to see pictures of all of our cars when we do get them! Just hearing about all of the different options and color combos is fun.

Kind of like when is a person a person.
I say at conception, others say at delivery. I'm impatient so passing out cigars would be a little premature at this time. The excitement got the better of me.

Week 21/22/23
Well, as a member of the week 21/22/23 Club I'm with you all in waiting for Wellington to come home. While I wait, I took a shot at collecting all the ship departures from Southampton to North American ports over the next month. Note that I don't know if these ships will carry our MINIs, just these are the W/W and K-Line departures on their schedules out of Southampton. Info was pulled as of May 28.
