found this site that shows my otello arriving in southampton on the 28th feb... this thursdsay! woot...hopefully my mini gets loaded then

the courage is also listed here as arriving in southampton on the 4th march and making it back to bremerhaven for the 8th... that seems fast.

am i reading these dates correctly?

From the info on the site you found... it looks like this trip will run a bit backwards... at any rate... it seems that once these ships leave Europe they take about 18 days to get to Charleston... that would get my car there 3/26/08 +/-... perhaps delivery to me during the first or second week of April. I see that as a good thing... I'm in Ohio so our weather should be in good shape by then and the salt should be off the roads... of course this is all speculation on my part?!?!?

 

im not sure about the ETS/ETA dates from that site now. ETA might be the date of arrival AT southampton... which puts our minis as leaving even later... boooo!

 

ETS = Estimated Time of Sailing (shipping)

ETA = Estimated Time of Arrival

 

right, but i wasnt sure about which port was for which date. i thought ets was time of arrival in southampton... seeing as i chose export from southampton. but i am likely confusing it all..as i am very confused

Guess I was thinking that this means that Courage leaves SH on 3/4 and arrives in Bremerhaven om 3/8?

 

thats what i thought initially...but now im thinking that bremerhaven is just listed as the ships origin (port of loading) and either relates to the first date march 4th, or neither date.

if courage ships from brem march 4th then it arrives in southampton on march 8th, and from there to the US.

OR! because this was a search for southampton export ships maybe the shipping date relates to shipping from southampton... but then the march 8th date seems very fast to get to the US...

i think it must be brem on 4th then to southampton for 8th..

Today, now that my car is attached to the Courage when I click on the Voyage Number I get the dated itinerary I pasted above... have you checked your Ship's Voyage information via this WW link? That might clear up a lot of these questions

So, Bremerhaven must be where things begin, like you pointed out... which relates to what I posted earlier for this ships previous itenerary... the trip begins on the first date... notice it did not change on this search... the ship gets to Chaleston on 3/22... if this is true it gets to SH on 3/8 from your search... which gives it 16 days to get from SH to Charleston... that's about what I figured it would take... I do not see the Otello on this list but maybe in drops its load in NY?

The Faust was supposed to arrive in Charleston today, but is now delayed until March 1st.

My MA says it takes a couple of weeks to process and deliver from Charleston to Cincinnati. Anyone out there know if this is right - or is she just trying to be the hero if/when it shows up earlier than that?
