Ahh ... I see ... that's too bad ... didn't realize it took so long to go through the process after it exits the factory. Oh well ... just more time to wait!

Well, it looks like my MINI was indeed completed on Valentine's Day. It's been released to the carrier for transport, woo hoo!

Congratulations everyone on your finished MINIs!
Mine took 3 days from "awaiting transport" to being listed on the WW site, but it is now! Mine is booked on the Falstaff, and should be shipped out on Monday!

Well, just took a trip to my Mini dealership today ... took just over 3 hours of driving to get there! My MA was kind enough to show me the ropes on a stick shift ... which was really awesome.

I also found out that mine was officially completed on Valentine's Day like yours, VelvetFoot. Pretty cool ... not many other people can say that their car was "born" on Valentine's Day.

Hmm... I wonder if my MA would show my roommate the ropes on a stick shift. She's never driven one, and we have tandem parking, so she's going to have to move it occasionally. I really don't want to teach her on my brand new MINI!

Congrats VF! I'm really hoping mine will make it on the Faust as well since the next ship departs the end of next week. I was done the same day as yours though, so one could hope. How did you find out you were on the Faust? Was it through Mini or through WW? WW still doesn't recognize my VIN.

My VIN doesn't show up on WW yet either. I hope that I get out on the next boat. Waiting is difficult, waiting in the dark is torture!

I had to wait a couple of days for WW, like you, and then, poof, it popped up.

Well, either WW's site isn't up-to-date, or mine must have missed the boat. Still says "No tracking information is available for the Cargo ID you entered" when I enter my VIN

The Faust is going to NYC. Is that in the general direction of your dealer? I could see if your VIN is on the ship from the booking search, but I imagine if it wouldn't be on your search it wouldn't be on my search.

Yeah, my dealer is in Chicago so it should be coming to the NY port. I've been using the Auto Cargo search on WW so I don't know if your search would yielf different results.

My VIN is WMWMF73588TT88831

I'm confused. If I enter YOUR VIN, I still get the same "No tracking information ...." message as when I enter MY VIN.

I went through all the 107 vins on the booking number and yours wasn't there. Those vins seemed somewhat similar, so I bet they are all MINI"S. I wonder how many cars the ship holds.

I mixed up posters. My VIN and Ignigena's do not appear. VelvetFoot's seems to have squeaked on (congrats). Now I've got it straight.

According to their web site, Faust holds 7500 cars.

Yeah, I suppose I'll have to see if my dealer has any more information. A person at ASK-MINI said that according to their records it hadn't even arrived at the port of exit yet

This seems a little off though that it would be delayed this long so I'm hoping that they just don't have the most recent information. I hope anyway.

Ignigena, hopefully you're on k-line... that would explain why the ww site has nothing about your MINI.

Mine shows loaded on the Falstaff! Yay... it's on its way to the west coast.
