Looks like my ship isn't squawking out positions on sailwx anymore ... but thank goodness for AIS! Looks like it's making good time towards Baltimore ... but the waiting is torture right now!

I'm really wondering if it's going to make it to the dealer by the 17th. My MA seems to think there will be no problem, but it's getting unloaded the Monday prior to that. Nothing's getting installed at the VDC (aero kit, etc.) but it still feels like I'm getting set up for a delay...

Well, I just got 'the call'.

My car is at the dealer and will be ready to take home on Wednesday afternoon .

I've kept my enthusiasm in check so far, but now I'm super anxious to see/feel/drive the new ride.

Well, being the impatient guy that I am, I called the stealership today. It was supposedly released to the shipper from the VDC on Friday. My MA told me that it would be here no later than this Saturday. And, of course, I have to work this weekend, so we all know that means no car. So...probably Monday.

 

My Clubman is showing EnRoute in the OL finally!

It is not on WW though as there is no tracking online at their site - so I guess I'm on K-Line. Anyone know which K-line ships would have left recently...I need to try to find that thread that talks about K-line now.

I've got a message in to the MA to see if she can give me some more info.

Update! My MA just told me that I'm on the Emden - left on 6 March due in Charleston on 15 March. Yay!!

 

I'm hoping mine was unloaded this afternoon at Charleston. The WW tracking is being a little weird. It now shows two stops in Charleston for the Patriot, one on the 10th (today) and one on the 11th. While it shows the 10th in RED (meaning it's left) it doesn't say anything on my vehicle page about it being unloaded or anything (although I have no idea if it's supposed to or not)

In any case, my MA told me last week that I should be able to pick it up the week of the 17th. Next week! Woohoo! Can't wait!

 

Just was told today that my car arrives at Charleston on 3/16.... I think I must be on the Emden too!!

 

I'm hoping mine has been unloaded at this point too. I haven't heard anything from my MA! I guess I could call him, but he's been really good about keeping me updated. I'm sure he'll call me when there's something to report.

Egads, I'd better start calling insurance companies today!

 

Looks like the Patriot is still docked at Charleston. Just checked the POC site and they are still unloading the cargo. So I'm assuming the extra Charleston stop is just because it's taking more than a day to unload the cargo.

I found the Patriot! ... I think. I'm pretty sure comparing it to a photo of what the Patriot looks like.

Via a live webcam at Charleston I see it's still docked ... presumably still being unloaded.
