I love the rear fogs. I think the xenon headlight design is nicer than the halogen, but seems like they are too bright, I hope people don't start flipping me the bird.

Just found out the the dealer accidentally overcharged me by $1000.

I brought a certified check for most of the amount and I put the rest on my card. The amount they charged me on my card was $1000 more than it should have been.

If all else fails, just dispute it with your credit card company. Just make sure you call them to file the dispute before you pay the statement with the charge on it or you will lose your dispute rights. I've had to dispute a couple things (both with different credit card companies) and the process went very smoothly. They credited my account for the dispute amount and took care of contacting the company that mis-charged me to get it straightened out.

It went smoothly...called my MA this morning and told him. He got back to me about 1pm today and told me that his manager already caught the mistake and a check for $1000 + some change is on its way to me.

Look great. I like MY/B color. I was going to order MY/B combo but just changed my mind.

They forgot to install it a the port, so it was done by my dealer. Got in at the port on the 2 weeks ago, picked up today. They also didn't have sport stripes at the dealer, so they go on when I pick up my plates. Kinda annoying as they have known for a full month this car was coming. Loving it so far! My observations:

- makes grin-inducing power
- gonna take me some time to get adjusted to FWD
- iPhone works well
- USB port + included iPod adapter work great.
- standard (non-xenons) work great for me, glad I didn't spend the $$
- foglights are bright!
- 70 feels like 40 in this car

I hope they didn't charge you extra for the installation at the dealer...

Russr and FunkDaddy, Wow!! Amazing MINIs guys!! Very Impressive!! Here's few of mine. Second day was an ice storm, almost slid off my driveway. Then we had a Boy Scout campout in gale force winds, rain and sleet, then a day of mud and wind, then a heavy frost morn... you'll get the pic below. Car full of mud, packs, my muddy son and myself. Nothing like getting over the new car thing in a hurry.

Russr...it's hard to tell from the angle. Are those Xenons?

That's a beauty! Are you happy with how it all turned out?

TK, the DS looks great. Did you wash it today? Looks like you got a lot of dogs and other cars in the background in some of those shots.

Seeing your MINI makes me that much more anxious to get mine! My exterior specs are the EXACT same as yours - DS/B, white signals, xenons, rear fogs, bridge spokes - the whole nine! Man, this is horrible. Mine is still sitting on the dock!!

Yours looks great! But then again, I could be slightly biased.

Russr, Thanks for the note. Yes. I went to the dogs a long time ago. My mats are the ultra-elite, rubber Wal-Mart type. Very cheap, cut to fit and they fill up the entire floor area and up the sides a bit. Not sure what I'll do come spring. You?

08DSMCS, Thanks for the compliment, albeit biased. Our specs are nearly identical on the interior as well.

Not to make it worse, but the pics do not do these cars justice. There is nothing like staring at one in your driveway or sitting in it as you take what used to be a boring drive to work.

You're going to love it! So, any news?

Have any of you who got your cars run into the seatbelt getting stuck in the door issue yet? There's a fix of this, but you probably already figured it out.

Mine hasn't got stuck in the door, but it gets jammed between the door and the seat and is hard to pull out sometimes.... what's the fix?
