I have been lusting for a MINI for 5 years. Fate had my wife looking on E-Bay and she found Hendrix only 10 miles away for a great price. He is a 2005 Purple Haze Metallic 5 speed MINI with 24K miles. I spent 6 hours detailing him. Washed with Dawn dishwashing soap to strip his wax, clayed him with Griott's, then hit him with Zaino Lok and Zaino show polish. I then broke out the plastic polish, wheel cleaner, and tire foam. Lastly I did the windows and interior. WOW! I have to get him to Otto's MINI for a schedueled oil change and a new owner check-up.

The wife and I look forward to meeting some of you while motoring. Hendrix will share the garage with my 96 ImpalaSS (has 23K miles and is show perfect with lots of mods). It's like having MINI and MAXI.

Oh how cool ..... The Italian Job (new version) is on FX now. It must be FATE. BTW I like the older version best! But I love the new MINIs!!

Ahhhhhhhh... nice find. The ever-elusive Purple Haze. And with a white top, to boot (Not to be confused with a white boot to top it off). Anyway... CONGRATS, Hendrix is a beaut !!

Ps. Yeah, I caught the end of The Italian Job on telly (British accent) last night, too. I think I've seen that part of the movie 13 times now.
