Helix Introduces Raceseng!

helix-raceseng_zps426807ba.png

Helix Minisports is delighted to introduce Raceseng to the MINI community. Raceseng is a family-owned design and manufacturing company based in Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania. The father-son team continues a family tradition of craftsmanship and innovation in motorsports that began in 1957. Recently, Raceseng expanded into the automotive aftermarket including a new line of products for the MINI. All Raceseng products are designed and manufactured in-house here in the USA and made of the highest quality materials.

Helix is now offering an exclusive introductory price on two unique Raceseng products that we think embody the design and innovation of the company: their Tugview Tow Hook/Go Pro camera mount (all in one unit!) and their Ashiko shift ****. We will be offering the Tugview for an introductory price of $179 in time for holiday delivery. If we get more than 10 orders by the end of the presale on Wednesday, December 17th, the price drops to $169, and if we get more than 20 orders, we will include free shipping. We are also offering the Ashiko ****, either with or without shift gate engraving. We will be offering the un-engraved shift **** for $88 (Regularly $110), and the engraved **** for $112 (Regularly $140). 5 and 6 speed shift patterns are available. You can also get the Ashiko **** color anodized or powder coated with one of a number of colors and finishes. See the link for details and pricing on colored *****. If we get 10 or more shifter orders, the shipping is free! To take advantage of these introductory offers, click on the link to customize your product and add it to your cart. Stay tuned to this thread for updates on participants. Remember that this limited time offer only lasts through Wednesday, December 17th. You can place your order on our website, where there's a wealth of information on these and other Raceseng products. We'll be updating this thread to let people know if we are approaching a new discount level.

Nice!

I just posted up my review of the Raceseng Slammer **** I installed on my GP recently: Click here.

You might want to consider adding the Slammer to your offerings - the Ashiko isn't for everyone.

Will do. I don't know if they have plans for the automatic.

We do offer the Slammer as well, but, for the sake of simplicity, it's not part of our introductory discount. check our website for all of the products.

Give us a call at the shop and we'll see what we can do!

Oh, and I had claimed that the Slammers were on the site. I was mistaken, but they'll be up after lunch today.

Helix,
Why did you pick the Ashiko over the Slammer for the discount?
Was there something you liked better about the Ashiko?
I ask because without feeling each I am having a tough time deciding between the two.

You're the 4th person today that expressed that to me. I guess I'll have to add the slammer to the deal. Give us a call (267 three three five 4337) and we'll take care of you.

That go-pro / tow hook is a great idea, to bad it WAY too much.

Hopefully they will come to their senses on the pricing or the Chinese Market will hopefully knock it off and make a 40$ version.

So, you advocate design theft and patent plagiarism? Real nice.

Also, not sure if you knew, but Raceseng products are all designed, engineered, and manufactured right here in the USA and feature great customer service and support.

Try getting that with any Chinese replica part.

Yea I'd take one for about half that price, for that price I can get another GoPro.

Basically YES, 180$ for a tow hook is crazy and that is why the Chinese do so well knocking off the USA made products.

Maybe they should think about farming that work out. Also I dont see myself needing a lot of customer service installing a tow hook or fitting my Go-Pro to the hook. Let be honest, the Chinese have been making cheap tow hooks for some time now, and NO ONE needed customer service to install it.

What a cynical view. I started composing a long-winded response to this and your second post, but what's the point? I've learned every I need to know about you in those posts.

Yes it is cynical. I fully admit you made an excellent product and a brilliant idea, that will work for many cars (not just the MINI).

BUT and this is a huge BUT, its over priced and you will limit your sales because of it. Sorry but that is the truth.

Another hard truth someone is going to copy the design and sell it for 1/2 price of less. So you know all you need to about me, big deal.

There's an inherent issue with farming things out: Quality goes down the tubes.

Also, there's a lot of time lost in receiving samples, OK'ing the order, or if the samples were subpar, requesting better samples... I can go on and on.

Just because it's cheaper, doesn't mean it's worth it. I'm sorry to see that you base all your purchasing decisions on price.

It's hard to believe what a bunch of cheap-chasing losers some of us Americans have become. Why do you think this anemic "recovery" (horrible total unemployed numbers for 6+ years) has dragged on so long? American workers used to be able to support their families and have one parent at home to raise the kids. Now, everything must be cheap at any cost; a downward self-fulfilling death spiral. Mayday! Mayday! Cooper must have a secure job and never took economics.

Received my order of the translucent charcoal Ashiko with shift pattern engraving a little before Christmas. In my humble opinion, a beautiful work of art. I am very glad I purchased it. 😃👍😎
